October 2023, I called the ******* location to cancel membership. I was told that I needed to sign a document, which I did upon visiting the facility. The staff assured me that my plan was canceled. I had an unauthorized charge to my credit card of $39.99 on November 3rd. I called the ******* location in early November, I was told by a representative that the November 3rd charge would be the last. I was billed a second time in November for $54.00 and in December for $39.99. I called the manager; he said my account was never canceled. He agreed to handle it over the phone and assured me that I would no longer be billed. On February 3rd, I discovered another charge of $39.99. I went to the ******* location on February 5th, the manager confirmed that my account was canceled. I thought there was a chance I was being charged for my son's account, we have the same name. The manager looked up his account and said no payments had been made to his account and the account was not active. The manager said he couldn't provide further assistance because he could not see that any payments were made. He provided me with a customer service number.I called the number, the representative claimed that there were no charges on my account since November. My card statement clearly shows charges, which I brought to the attention of both the Wheaton manager and the customer representative. The representative said my account was closed and she thought I was being charged for my son's account but could not confirm. The representative then directed me back to the ******* location again. On March 28th, I returned to the ******* location. I reminded him that he was the person that told me that my son's account was not active back in February and showed no payments. He printed the payment history for my son's account, it showed no payments for the past 12 months. I do not know why I am being charged $39.99 a month, my monthly fee was $24.99. I was charged another $39.99 on March 29th.
