      Purchased this new machine on March 10, the day it was delivered, it does not work properly. I called their customer service number and was given a case number, told to provide my proof of purchase and a tech would reach out in 2 business days. I have heard nothing and it's now March 26th. I called again a few days ago and they said they were sending me a part, but they had no tracking for the part and still no contact by a repair tech. This was a brand new item and a $300 item!! No customer service, I want a refund for this item and for them to pay the return costs. Please advise. The repair case number they gave me was ******. I have those email confirmations if you want them. Thanks.

CALLED 4 TIMES TO REQUEST RESPONSE FROM MANAGER ***. No call back to address problems with request for a power cord when we were not told it was needed in February. The lady over the phone in February told us we can donate it to a recycling center. It seems like they have unethical business practices and are trying to not take care of a junk product. Request Refund of $233.14 or a new deep freezer. I can send pictures of the damage it did to my garage floor as well from rotten food that leaked all over my floor. If the company would like to pay for clean up and paint. Its stained BLACK!!!!

      9/2022 purchased Magic Chef Portable Washer 1.6 through ******* online.A few months after purchase, it started making a slight knocking sound as the tub would move back and forth. A few days later, the knocking got louder and louder, but the washer still functioned, otherwise. In May, 2023, the control board started malfunctioning, stuck on "bulky" only. Still knocking loudly....I can hear it outside my apartment. I called Magic Chef, who scheduled an appointment for repair. Two weeks later, the repair man arrived to evaluate my situation. At that time, he determined it would cost more to repair the machine than it cost to purchase it. He felt Magic Chef would likely replace it. Two weeks later I discover Magic Chef sent an incorrect part, which had to be reordered. Two weeks later I talk to Magic Chef supervisor....still no repair. Finally, TWO MONTHS AFTER REQUESTING SERVICE; repair man replaces the control board. After spending 30 minutes tearing apart the bottom of the machine, he discovers that the part he needs to replace is actually GLUED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE **** Impossible to replace, without replacing the whole tub. He also discovered the broken off end of a drill bit inside the hole, below one of the bolts he removed. How did THAT get there? What now? Next day I get an e-mail from MC telling me to cut the cord and either take a picture or mail it to them at my expense. They will then refund the purchase price, but not the sales tax. Also, it will be necessary for me, a senior disabled woman, to arrange and pay for the haul away of a piece of c*** I am waiting for a response to my e-mail sent today. I will never purchase anything made by Magic Chef again. Horrible customer service/response. Shame on **********************.

      I bought a ** Refrigerator about 14 months ago. The refrig, quit working, I contacted MC CS, and was told I was more or less out of luck because the appliance was 2 months past the warrenty

I do Not Like It One (1) Single Bit! First of all, it does Not Have Enough Room/Space ** Hold My Clothes! Secondly, it has Way **o Many Choices ** Choose From On The Dial Which Is Beyond Unnecessary *** Confusing!       Approximately 2 years ago I purchased a Magic Chef 10cf refrigerator from *********** The unit came with a five year warranty and worked fine untill September 2022, at which time it simply stopped working. I gathered all identifying information, called Magic Chef for service to request assistance. I was provided with the name and contact information for a local service center. I called repeatedly over a two week period, left voicemail, sent texts all to no avail never received any return call. I called Magic Chef and reported my experience, and was told to find an appliance service business, and located ***** Appliance in ******************** **. I explained the circumstance to *****, they sent a service rep who diagnosed the problem. Ultimately, I paid a $115 service fee and again called Magic Chef to report the diagnosis. After 3 weeks back and forth with both Magic Chef and ********** the end result was that even with 2 years of warranty left, neither company was going any further to help. I wasn't then, nor am I now satisfied with the entire situation. I called Magic Chef one last time and was told I'd be receiving $100 to end the situation. I told them I didn't want money, but wanted the fridge to be repaired or replaced. The end result was that 2 weeks later a $100 check was mailed to me. I called again and voiced my dissatisfaction to Magic Chef, but was told far as they were concerned this ended the situation. The only response from ********** was that I could purchase a new refrigerator and get $50 off the new price. During this time I lost $400-$500 worth of food in both the fridge and freezer, and was forced to replace this refrigerator at my additional expense. In my opinion a warranty is only as good as the company behind it, and this experience has taught me that a 5 year warranty from Magic Chef is completely worthless. I expect more from both Magic Chef and *********** I want the damaged refrigerator completely repaired or replaced.

      Good afternoon,

      Customer purchased the ********* refrigerator sometime in 2019 (date of mfg. was September of 2018) he did not have a receipt.  He was able to find a service center in his area to diagnose the issue being the compressor but would not replace the compressor for him due to the refrigerant.  The compressor does have a 5-year warranty (part only) the unit itself has a 1-year warranty for all parts and labor.  We provided the customer with a refund for the compressor $100.00 and reimbursed him half of the cost of the service call $57.50.  He received a check for $157.50 that was cut on Sept. 1, 2022.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Sorry, I thought I did reply. Neither ********** nor MC provided an acceptable resolution. HD offered a store gift card in the amount of $268.00 to provide compensation equal to the amount I spent to diagnose the problem. MC offered to send a compressor to me at a value of $268 and told me I would then have to pay the estimated $400 - $600 to have someone install the new compressor. My request was, is, and continues to be that I simply want a replacement in full working order. There was never consideration for the loss of $400 - $500 loss of food, and still any resolution would cost more than what I paid for the refrigerator 3 years ago. 
      Seems that the customer looses regardless of the offer from HD or MC. This is unacceptable. New cost to me for a replacement unit is $450. Loss of food is $400. For me to pay to install a compressor is $600. If you can make financial sense of this please advise.

      I purchased a Magic Chef Washer MCSFLW27W on 6/30/20 from ********** for 922.50.Recently I left town for two weeks, upon my return, the washer would not work, error code E80.This machine had a one year warranty.My problem is I cannot get anyone to service this machine. I have contacted MC Appliance ** for help. The numbers they have given me for service do not come to my area. they claim I can buy parts directly from them, however I have gotten 3 different answer to what part I need. Since I cant diagnose myself I need someone to come and do this I have contacted other appliance repairmen on a recommendation from a friend. They cant order parts for the machine. So Im in limbo with a two year old washer, MC Appliance has been no help, and I cant get help to come and diagnose.Can you help with this?

      Product: MCSDRY35W Product issues: In addition to dealing with a defective door latching apparatus from the first day of receiving this item, the dryer has become completely useless because it keeps shutting off within seconds of being turned on.Given that I am out of the warranty period, the company offered to replace whatever parts that I needed to fix the dryer. I am not really sure about what is going on with the individual who was helping me with ordering the parts but she is nowhere to be found. I have called her and sent her several emails for two weeks now and still no answer.

      Was trying to reach out to the service center to order the additional part they needed - was unable to reach them till today.  They were blocking our phone #.  Was able to finely reach them and they have requested that the customer find another service center to complete the call due to issues with the customer.  I have informed the customer as to their request.
