Please read the entire statement, I apologize for the length. In Feb 2011, I got a brand new 2011 Camaro from the ******* ******* ***** Dealership. A few years later, I decided to have an alarm and remote starter installed so I went and paid the Dealership close to $800. In Dec. 2021, I started having problems with the remote starter and alarm and I needed to replace the case to the remote.I went back to the dealership I bought it from. The **** Rich, stated it could be your battery in the remote, bought one that wasn't it so he stated, could be the car battery.I went where I bought the battery from and they replaced it. I was told by them whoever did your alarm starter needs to see why it is what's draining my battery. Scheduled an appt I was told someone would have to come and look at it so come back 8:00 am. I live over an hour from the dealership I was there 7:45 a.m. and sat there until 1:30 p.m. with NO service. I told the dealership that was very unprofessional Rich informed me that they couldn't get a hold of the company that installed the system. All this time, I always thought it was the dealership that put it on. I was then told by Rich I needed to call them, I was also told that it would cost $175 for them to come out and look at it but labor would be more. Told $100 for them coming out and $75 to diagnostic the problem but does not include the cost of parts or labor.I called asked for a mgr. got ***** I was told I would have to leave the car and to go to the ************ ** shop. I went to pick my car up and the mechanic stated "It took me a minute haven't done one of these in a while it's working now" I paid him $75 3 weeks later I attempted to remote start but it wasn't working the remote wouldn't unlock or lock the doors, I had to get a jump, the tire and airbag lights came on my dash, the alarm started coming on while I was driving and I couldn't get my trunk closed *********** I spoke with ********************* Gen. **** call back
