On May 20 , 2021 my wife and i hired Painter1 to paint our kitchen cabinets. We paid a $375 deposit. The inexperienced crew arrived on July 8th.After three days onsite the job was not completed and looked terrible. The paint finish is not smooth and already paint peeling all over. There was paint overspray and runoff all over the cabinet and adjacent areas. The paint finish did not looked professional. The owner stated that he would make sure to take all necessary step to correct the paint job. He never came back to look what was done to make sure I was satisfied.

This project was completed in July and ****************** has refused to settle his balance of $1515.00. I walked his project with him on the last day and placed the blue tape where his concerns were and *****graphed the project at that time. The crew spent the remainder of the day completing the punch list. Once complete, the office manager called him to settle up. We have a recording of the conversation between him and our office manager. (Which we can provide to you). In that recording he says that the only outstanding issue is the piano hinge which he provided a ***** of. The piano hinge could have just been cleaned with soap and water at the time (water based paint). But he refused and demanded it be replaced. We ordered a replacement, but unfortunately it was too wide and we cannot find a replacement. We offered him a discount for the hinge, but he refuses to pay anything at this point.

The small **** ***** at the top of the door is from damage caused since July. You will see in our large ***** the door to the left of the oven does not have blue tape on it and there is no damage.

The majority of his *****s appear to be prior to us walking the project with him and creating the punch list for touch **** there is blue tape in one of the *****s he provided. I'm sure this isn't still there after (4) four months.  In another on of his ***** provided you can see how smooth the door is compared to his "textured" textured *****s he provided because the **** or damage has occurred after we completed the punch list in July. We have provided *****s of the finished doors as well.

The painters could have taken better care to hang plastic and thoroughly cover his garage floor. There was some overspray on his unfinished garage floor, which we were very apologetic about. Also, there was some overspray on some of his yard equipment which at the time we offered to clean, but he said not to worry it was just yard tools. Our crews are usually much better about this and you can see our 5 Star reviews on ******* Thumbtack, and **** (formerly HomeAdvisor).
