Service was provided in Dec 2021 to repair a loose bumper. Upon pickup, the company told me that they did not have time to complete the repair as promised and if there was an issue they would fix it but they would need about 3-4 hours. Approximately two weeks later, the bumper became disconnected and I called the shop and told them I would need to bring it back in. A short while later, a snow and ice storm hit the area. The snow buildup caused the entire problem to be worse than it was when I first brought the car to them. The bumper, wheel wells, and skirt piece are all disconnected. I called and the owner said to be careful because the bumper could completely fall off but he would call me back the next day to schedule a time. He never called. One week later I drove to the shop, re-explained the situation and spoke to the guy who originally told me they didn't have time and would need 3-4 hours to properly fix it. At that point he said it could take days to fix. I told him I cannot leave the car for days unless I was provided a car, and I didn't understand how 3-4 hours turned into days. He asked me to leave my number and he would call back to schedule a time. Nor he or the shop have attempted to schedule a fix. The problem is getting worse.Business response

Business Response Mr ****** came into our shop after purchasing a vehicle that had been damaged prior to his purchase. We covered all the options with Mr ****** of things that needed to be done to repair said vehicle. One being a patch that may not work and another a much more costly repair to repair the vehicle correctly. Mr ****** wanted the vehicle repaired by the patch due to cost and time to repair. As noted the repair failed. They only other option is to repair the vehicle properly which is more costly and time cosuming. If Mr ****** would like to pay the additional cost and leave the car for the time we can repair it correctly. If not we can refund the amount he originally paid and he can seek other options at other facilities to get his bumper repaired.
