December 2022 our upstairs bathroom pipe broke and leaked water throughout our house. We had many damages. ********************** contracted **** Davis of North Central Indiana, managed by ******************, located in Bremen,IN.Listed below are the basic reasons I would not recommend **** Davis of Bremen. I signed a contract that required payment of 50% down and 50% on completion. **** Davis did not complete the job. The workers did an excellent job they do not deserve such poor management. Management tried to replace quality materials with cheap lighting, woodwork, tile and carpet. Management did not provide the workers with adequate information to do the work correctly. Many photos were initially taken, but the photos were not provided to the workers. I became the advisor and worked to direct what the house looked like before the damage. March 20, 2023 the workers had moved out and were gone! I continued to finish the house myself. I finished carpet, plumbing, woodwork, cleaning, staining, and painting. ****************** called me, ready to finish the job. I told him to forget it. I had completed most of the remainder of the work myself. **** Davis needed to return our homes contents which had been stored with them. ****************** wanted a Release making him free and clear of the job and he would return our homes contents. June 19, 2023 our household contents were returned. They quickly piled furniture and boxes in our house and scampered off. An air purifier, linen closet door, cabinet and miscellaneous bathroom fixtures were lost. June 23, 2023 we received notice that **** Davis had put a Mechanics Lien on our home. We finally settled this financial mess when I decided to bring in the lawyers. It has been ten months since the **** Davis started to fix the house damage and I am still finishing.
