After my Jan 29, 2024 intake, everything went downhill. It seems this office is too dysfunctional to return phone calls or submit pre-authorizations to insurance in a timely manner. As of Feb 22, 2024 the office had received my records from my previous provider and stated that the dermatologist needed to review them. I was told I would be called to go over next steps. I never heard anything and called March 1, leaving a voicemail. I didnt hear back and called again on the following dates, each time due to never getting return calls: March 6, 7, and 11. On the 11th a scheduler sent an internal message to the ************* requesting someone call me, but that didnt help. I finally was lucky enough to have someone at the office answer the phone when I called 3/13. I was told that they were still waiting for my medical Botox to be filled by the pharmacy. When I asked why no one bothered to return any calls to tell me this, I received no explanation. They did say, though, that I could call the pharmacy to find out what was going on. That shouldnt be the patients responsibility, but I called anyway (3/13). Pre-auth was still pending, but due to the variable nature of waiting-for-insurance, there was no ETA. I would receive a call when things were ready to move forward. I called the pharmacy again 3/25 for an update and learned that the pre-auth had been pending since FEBRUARY 16 and I would need to call Forefront to ask for the dermatologist to call my insurance to give verbal pre-auth. On 3/26 I left another message with the Forefront ************* indicating that the ball was, and HAD been, in THEIR court and that I needed a return call before the end of the week, otherwise I would be seeking treatment elsewhere.On April 2nd, 2024, someone from Forefront called me to say they were still waiting for the Botox to be filled, it could be up to 30 days, and to please be patient. I was not able to answer, unfortunately. Doesnt matter b/c I scheduled elsewhere.
