    I paid for a session back in July and have attempted twice to schedule the session with her to no avail. I’m just disappointed at the lack of organization and communication. I work tremendously hard for my money and am stunned to be treated this way by another adult who should understand the value of money and building clients in a small community. Perhaps I do not get my money back, but I think it’s important to note that if you value your money and are truly wanting to capture family memories, this is photographer is not who you should choose by any means.

    SHUT. HER. DOWN. P E R I O D!!!!!! She doesn’t deliver pictures in a timely manner, EVEN AFTER paying $100 extra to deliver EARLY!!!! She needs to be shut down! I have TONS of excuses and multiple NONresponses! SHUT. HER. DOWN!!!!!!

    BEWARE!! Almost 8 weeks after newborn pictures and still NOTHING. I’ve gotten every excuse possible as to why the pictures haven’t been sent and saying she thought she sent them and she would send again and still never received a thing! Babies change so much over the first few weeks that it’s kinda pointless even sharing which sucks because she ain’t cheap! Ashley Schmelzer (Bowen) does amazing pictures and we had a great session with her but I would never recommend her unless you can wait a while to get your pictures back and her communication skills are just awful Ive had to consistently text her for an update on where the pictures were sometimes not even getting a response. This is no way to do business! If her reviews weren’t turned off on her page and she didn’t delete all negative comments on post I would’ve commented there but this will have to do! I’ve saw similar issues from others after looking into it and she does this a lot! Hopefully for anyone thinking of booking with her sees this because I wish I would have!

    I paid a deposit for a session. Ashley canceled the day of the session. I tried to set up another session for the next few months, but couldn’t get in contact with her. She will not refund the $75.

    She has changed her name to Ashley S********* We paid for newborn pictures for triplets a year ago and have not received all the photos promised in the package and the ones we did receive were mainly duplicates She has been giving us the run around for a year Not answering calls or texts Beware of the lady!

    I paid her in full for maternity & newborn pictures in July 2020. I loved her work, but lord, if I had known, I would have never used her. My first mistake was paying in full for two sessions. We had our maternity pictures done in December 2020. She told me it would only be a couple of weeks for pictures. LIE! It took 13wks to get them. I had no choice but to use her for newborn pictures since we paid in FULL. We got our maternity pictures after we had done newborn pictures. Every excuse is what I got if I even got a response. Newborn pictures took 14 weeks. I was back to work before I got anything. Wonderful pictures, horrible business skills. I would never recommend her to anyone. She was terrible with responding to phone calls, text messages, or emails. Do not use this person if you want to deal with all that.

    She did our 1 year photo shoot. It took about a month to get ahold of her to book, but I had purchased a gift card so I didn't want to lose it. Otherwise, I would have given up on using her. I think this is what she must bank on. Because after our shoot, I didn't hear from her for 2 months until I reached out asking about the status of our pictures. I didn't hear back for weeks despite emails, texts, DMs. The only response I ever did get for months when she did bother responding was, I will send them when I get back to my computer. It has been 5 months and not 1 proof. DO NOT USE!!! I think she half expects people to forget about their pics or lose interest in trying to reach her. After she has taken your money, she definitely doesn't plan on reaching out to you or offering any sort of refund for services not rendered.

    So pretty much par for the course we had ordered a session for newborn pictures wife paid the deposit was told when baby was here to let her know took almost two weeks for her to respond finally took the pictures paid her was told we would have them in a couple of weeks we have emailed texted fb messaged her only to have one response that oh sorry I've been busy had a family emergency I'll get them up today...this person loves to post about going to the gym out on date nights going to concerts or whatever but can't take the time to do the job she was paid to do so needless to say I have contacted an attorney and will be suing her since I have requested a refund or pictures but she has not responded DO NOT use her she is a very unprofessional person who needs to find another line of work cause she clearly does not know how to run a business or even have the courtesy to respond to customers who have paid for her service

    If I could leave zero stars I would. I got family Christmas pictures done at the beginning of December and it’s now the end of February and still no pictures. I sent her a ******** message after 4 weeks no response, an email after 5 weeks no response and have texted her a few times. The only response I ever got was she thought she sent them out and would look into it and get back to me but of course never did. I asked her to please refund my money if she could not send my pictures and still no response. So not only do I not have my pictures she has stolen $200 from me. I absolutely would not recommend this photography to anyone.
