    On December 12, 2022 I dropped off and paid $290.60 for framing on 3 items at 80% off normal price. They included an advertisement, a college diploma for my *** and another college diploma for my ********. On December 22nd, I received a call from Michaels stating they had a problem with the size of the mat on the advertisement piece. I was also told the other 2 items, college diplomas, were completed. I was told it would take another "week or so" to reorder a mat and complete the order for the advertisement. We both agreed that I would pick up all items when the advertisement piece was complete, since we live 33.9 miles away from the store. A few days after Christmas, my wife was in town and stopped by Michaels on ******** ******** ************ **. She picked up the newly framed advertisement and the diploma for my ***. However, she was told the college diploma for my ******** was not finished due to an incorrect mat size and Michaels would have to reorder a mat, same as the advertisement piece. I was told earlier, the diplomas were already completed. Today, January 4th, I reach out to Michaels inquiring about my ********'s college diploma and was told they had lost her diploma. I insisted that they find the diploma and call customers looking for her college degree. Michaels would not commit or answer my request to contact customers. I ask to take to the owner and was told to look up the corporate office on the internet and call them. Michaels wants me do all of the work to find a replacement. My cost to replace my ********s diploma along with the memories of that day is priceless. Michaels is responsible for the replacement of the college diploma and all time and effort involved. It is obvious that Michaels Arts and Crafts store on Veterans parkway in Clarksville Indiana is incompetent and irresponsible. I am asking for the BBB to help solve this problem.

    Earlier today, I file complaint ******** with the Louisville BBB regarding a lost college diploma at Michaels Arts and Crafts Store on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville Indiana.  Since that time, this complaint has now been resolved.  The diploma was found and is currently in our possession.
