Received a $350 deposit on June 8, 2022 to remove tree from my daughter’s home. Its now June 27th and tree has not been removed and company is not responding to calls or texts. I want either the tree cut down as contracted or my $350 returned asap.Initial Complaint

On March 16,2022 we contracted with Branchwalker Tree Service to cut down a large tree in our back yard. He requested $350 for a deposit. We gave him the $350 and he said they would be out to cut the tree down within 2 weeks. When they didn’t show we called and got no answer. We have left numerous messages and have gotten no response. We are senior citizens and feel like he is taking advantage of us. We would like to have our money back!Initial Complaint

***** ****** of BranchWalker Tree Service LLC in Indiana provided me an estimate on May 2, 2022, to remove fallen trees in the woods behind my property, to selectively cut dead trees in the wooded area, to trim hazardous branches, and to haul away all wood, brush and debris along with cleaning up the work area. I was given a written invoice with the company name and information on it and quoted a price of 2,000 to do the work. I wrote a check for 750 as a deposit as I have worked with this company in the past without issue. The work was to be done within two weeks. I have reached out via text and phone multiple times to schedule service and received no response. They do not answer their phone or hang up. I have since discovered other complaints mirroring my own. They should be prosecuted for fraud.Initial Complaint

I gave the owner ***** ****** a $1,100 deposit for tree service & 3 weeks later still not responding to multiple messages from me. Also, if you look at different sites there many negative reviews about this company & the stealing of people's money & some saying they are taking legal action.Initial Complaint

On 9/24/2021, ***** ****** with Branchwalker Tree Service entered into a contract with me and requested a $1,000 deposit. The deposit was paid by check that day, which was cashed the very next day. I have heard from Mr. ****** one time approximately 2 weeks later to tell me that he had been out of town and that he would call me the next day. I haven’t heard from him since.Initial Complaint

On September 2, 2021, ** ******* gave a 250.00 deposit to Mr. ***** ****** of Branchwalkers in New Albany, Indiana for him to cut up a fallen tree and haul the debris away. Mr ****** promised the job would be done the week of September 5, 2021. The job was not done then. ** ******* called September 9, 3021 and Mr.****** said he would do the job on Friday, September 10 or Saturday, September 11. The job was not done. ** ******* then called and left a message requesting our 250.00 be returned. It is now September 17, 2021 and we have not heard from Mr. ****** nor do we have our 250,00 back! He will not return our phone calls or show up for the job! Consumers need to be warned about this business’s deceptive business practices!Customer response

This is ********* ********. On Sunday, September19, I filed a complaint against Branch Walkers on Center Street in New Albany. This complaint has now been resolved. Thank you!
