    I am a tenant at Stonewater at the Riverwalk apartments since January of 2022. April 13, 2022 my partner whom I live with put in a service request to our maintenance department of the apartment complex. The leak is located where the sliding glass door attaches to the interior wall of the apartment. The caulking had pulled away from the wall and created a crack between the wall and the top of the sliding glass door. There have been six more service requests that we have put in about the leak over the past 11 months due to the problem not being resolved. The following dates are when we submitted service requests about he leak: April 24, 2022, August 8, 2022, August 22, 2022, August 19, 2022, October 17, 2022, April 5, 2023. **** the lead of the maintenance department has tried caulking the outside, inside, and seeing if the leak is from the above floor. On one of the days **** was in my apartment trying to fix the leak he told me that my apartment is not the only one with a leak issue. He said the entire south facing side of the building is having issues with leaks. I have spoken to the apartment managers about this problem on several different occasions. On one occasion the manager who is no longer here told me that if I didn't like it then I should move out. I spoke with the current manager, ***************************, about the issue today, April 5, 2023. I requested that they hire a leak expert to come out and find out what the root cause is because clearly this leak is out of the maintenance crews expertise. She said she would " look into it and keep me updated", which is what we have been hearing since the beginning of the charade. This has led to mushrooms growing in the corner of the our wall, the floor panels coming unglued due to the water damage, and base boards splitting.
