1 starOur trash was not picked up in the *********************** subdivision in ******* this week on Thursday. Normally it would be picked on Friday if they do not come on Thursday, it was not. No notice, no explanation, no message on website or ********, no response to messages left, we are guessing the weather Thursday morning might be involved, but for all we know they could have closed their doors an went out of business. I have lived in my home for over 30 years and we have had weather far worse than last Thursday, but our trash has never been let go like this.An explanation or advance notice would have been nice. I hope they realize that it is a lot harder for a disabled senior citizen to push a full trash can back up a driveway than down.Review fromAnn P

Borden Waste-Away did not pick up my recycling at the scheduled time. I had placed it at the required spot the night before, as I always do. It sat for three days, long past what city ordinances allow before they start issuing fines. When I contacted Borden, they sent me doctored photos and videos proving it wasnt there. When I pointed put how simple it is to doctor digital media, they threatened me with retaliation.

We at Borden do our best to support our customers and look for solutions to any issues that *** arise. In this case, Borden strongly disagrees with the claims made by the customer. At no time did ******************** or any of our associates doctor a photo or video to submit to a customer as proof of ********************** or a ********************** exception. Borden also disagrees that any threats or retaliation were stated or suggested. Borden has compromised with the customer and will be removing the recycling a week sooner than scheduled. We will continue to do our best to service this and all of our customers.Ann P

It would be one thing if the company would simply acknowledge that it missed some pickups. Its another thing entirely to blame the customers and accuse them of lying. They do this consistently. They seem very polite about it, so many people dont question them. Borden would do well to remember that many people now have security cameras. Its a very simple matter to check our footage against theirs.Ann P

1 starA trash collection service that doesn't collect trash. They're sure to take the money every 3 months on the exact same day every quarter. The customer ********************** just tells you what you want to hear and then do whatever they feel like. I have a garage full trash because Borden refuses to pick up my trash.
