Stay far away from this manufacturer. We purchased a brand new 2022 Forest River 40CDL. Between the water leaks from the ceiling in the first year as there was cracks in the ceiling that came from factory and not caught with the *** to the fridge not ceiling properly and ruining thousands of dollars of food. Worst or the worst is all the floor slides floors are all rotting out. What a waste of $119,000. This company needs to stop ******* and actually take the time to manufacture these correctly. Im deeply saddened with the quality of the product.Review from Chelsea B

Purchased a brand new camper, and after only three months of owning it the water pump cracked and flood a portion of my trailer. An easy fix, however, Forest River does not make anything easy. There warranty process is no where to be found, and customer service is absolutely atrocious. I have never experienced worst service from a company than I have with Forest River. If I would have known this is how they did business I would have not purchased thee camper I did, brand new at that. I would not recommend them to anyone.Review from John S

Forest River and Camping World pass the buck back and forth and rip people off. They ripped me off on a bogus $3000.00 prep fee. They did not prep anything, nor will they make good on their warranty. It's a nightmare. I have had a health hazard black water tank even since I brought it. All they do is create policy that prevents it from being fixed???They should not be allowed to be in business.Review from Geoffrey B

We purchases a 360IBL chaparral in 2015 and after 3 years one of the slides had taken on water and had to be fixed. After 8 years, the other 2 slides took on water the same way and need to be replaced. The dealership said coachman knew about the sealant issues but chose to ignore it due it being too expensive to recall the units.I asked coachman to help with the repairs and they sent me a letter saying I neglected maintenance on the trailer. They didn't even have a look at the trailer before they started blaming lack of maintenance.Review from Brittany S

Horrible customer service, not easy to work with and their brand new products are junk! Our entire Cardinal *** had to be rewired (5 weeks in shop) at our expense for lodging! The tankless hot water system fried and we went 8 weeks with no hot water! Absolutely terrible! Discrimination as a woman and mother staying in the unit fulltime!Review from Dale S

Coachmen RV, in our case, is negligent in their manufacturing processes and refuse to take ownership when issues are brought to their attention. We are the original owners of a travel trailer that has suffered extensive water damage (quoted by them at nearly $16k) unbeknownst to us until it was far too late. It was determined that key areas were never sealed at the time of manufacturing and allowed precipitation to seep inside, hidden away until the floor rotted out. Coachmen told us that it must be a lack of maintenance, which is unfounded. When proven otherwise, we were told quite rudely that it's irrelevant whether they did or did not seal it properly at the time of manufacturing because it's out of warranty. The lack of accountability and audacity to hide behind a warranty window for something that is clearly at the fault of their own, is deplorable. It would be unfair of me to not mention that they offered to bring the total cost of repairs down to around $9k, though they know as well as us, that it doesn't make sense to pay that based on the current value of the unit. While I can only speak to our experience, it's come to our attention that this is not an isolated incident. We hope that by sharing our story others will not have to endure the same.Review from Kimberly K

Purchased a 16BHX 6 months ago, and the very first we discovered the Fridge would not cool at all for food, or life sustaining items. INSULIN. We were 6 hours from home, the shower head was busted, the sink would not start dripping water, we had to go way out of our means to survive, and my husband (a disabled veteran) was not doing well with is sugar because he needed ice to cool the insulin. I submitted receipts to Forest River to refund our expenses WAY over our budget, they quoted like a robotic email, a warranty black and white. I do not TRUST this company anymore, and I really don't feel safe in my RV. The wire was sparking according to the tech, and I'm not certain I feel it's safe from fire, or another failure. I went email rounds with *******************************, and ***************************, and *****************. There doesn't seem to be any humanity concerns there, and honestly, it's appeared to me to be a greed corporation, dodging their responsiblity. I mean, this was the very first. I'm just greatful we were alive, and very saddened this was my review on Forest River. Why do we put people like this in nice houses? Or furnish nice cars? We will be selling this or trading it....and sharing the word to hopefully educate others. These manufactures just don't make me feel safe.Review from Eddie C

4/16/2024 I purchased a 2024 FOREST RIVER CRUISE LITE 263BHXLX PLATNUM top-of-the-line bumper pull 30' camper. along with this purchase, we bought the extended warranty for $4,000.00. When we took possession of the unit we noticed water stains on some cushions. We immediately reported this issue to Camper World and returned the unit for their inspection the following day. They said they would handle the situation and upon their inspection, they could not find any leaks. Picked the camper back up and took it camping that weekend, It rained on this trip and the camper leaked at two places. I returned the unit and supplied Camper World with pictures of water in the camper. Camper World has had the camper for 2 weeks and say that Forest River will not give them the approval they need to repair the camper. They are requesting a video of the camper leaking before they will approve repairs. Camper World gave me Forest Rivers's phone number you cannot speak to anyone nor will anyone return your call. Camper World has had possession of this camper longer than I have. Going to write a review of them next.Review from Kathie Z

We bought a 2023 Tracer. We had 12 repairs to be done within the first 2 months. The biggest issue we have is that the awning touches the slide out. It rests on it. IT WAS MADE THAT WAY ON PURPOSE! Blows my mind. No help from the company. The light bar above the door is useless since the awning blocks 75% of the light bar. No help from the company as this awning issue is 'within compliance.' I do not recommend anyone buying a product from this company!Review from Nathan J

3500# axle needs replaced after 4 years on a trailer with a gross of 3920#. Seems silly to add an axle that wont carry the weight. Contacted them and they said they never recommend traveling with water in the tank. The point of having a water tank was to bring potable water with you. Poorly designed, **********************
