    our family has used coomes childcare since our twins were 3 months old. we were recommended to them by a trusted friend and only had small issues in the beginning of them closing constantly with the same excuses over and over. this complaint however is due to paying coomes childcare from the months of october 2023 to august 2024 to cover the daycare costs (minus the grants she received to reduce cost) until our twins were going into kindergarten in the fall of 2024. however due to many circumstances we decided to put our twins into preschool and pull them out of coomes childcare. After our 2 week notice which is required, the daycare owed us $2,825.00. we have received 2 payments since october towards our refund with a balance still owed to us at $1725.00 as of today. she has agreed to many payment plans and then they have all come with excuses and reasons she couldnt pay or just having my messages being ignored by her. i strongly do not recommend this business to anyone and it should be shut down since they cannot pay parents refunds if they are due a refund.

    We paid 2 full months of childcare that would start in January of 2024 with written response that if we back out we’d get a full refund minus 2 full weeks of childcare. In total we paid Coomes Childcare $1,090.00. The refund in total should be $690.00. The first month was paid on January 27th, 2023 with the total being $590.00. The second month was paid on February 9th, 2023 with the total being $500.00. Unfortunately we had to back out of Coomes Care due to certain circumstances and was told we’d get a refund. We never even utilized Coomes childcare. We paid in advance because we could at the time and was promised a refund if it didn’t work out. We notified ****** 11 months ahead of when care was suppose to start that we’d have to back out and that was on March 7th, 2023. It’s been almost 7 months of me contacting her once a month to see where our refund is and she has assured me that it’s coming, yet it still has not. My husband reached out on October 1st and 2nd. ****** responded saying she would get the refund back. We are another month out and still no refund. I have reached out twice since October 2nd with zero response. We have signed contracts and text messages. (attached below) All I’m asking is for our refund that is stated in our signed contract. We are brand new, first time parents who trusted ****** ****** because they reassured us we could and we have been in a constant state of stress since.
