Weve had our dog here 3 times. His most recent stay was for 13 days (long time, but it was our wedding/honeymoon), and they only fed him half the amount of food he was supposed to get. We dropped him off with 14 lbs of food, and his instructions were to get 1 lb (or a little extra, so there wouldnt be leftovers) of that food per day. Instead, he was sent home with 7 lbs of food. I called 4 Paws just to let them know, and the responses I got from the front desk, from a manager, and then from the general manager were dismissive and maddening. Each of them lied, denied making any mistake, claimed I was misunderstanding the amount of food I received back, claimed I dropped off a different quantity than I did, etc. They were the ones who breached the contract, and there was never an apologyonly defensiveness and denial. Finally, once I showed them the receipts for the food, I explained that the package sizes of food the ** said I dropped off dont even exist for that brand, and I told them my next step was to dispute the charge on my credit card, they issued a partial refund. We were disappointed we paid $1,000 and our dog hadnt been fed properly, but what really upset us was the way we were talked to and lied to when we told them what happened. Beyond that, here are a couple other details of his stays that have been disappointing: - For his 2 most recent stays, the staff somehow got confused by the activities/enrichment we chose and didnt do what we signed him up for (or had him do stuff we didnt sign him up for, and we paid for it). - Our dog was put in a room that was a cheaper tier than the one we booked, and they charged us for the more expensive room. (This was the stay that got a partial refund, and part of that refund was also for this.)I do not trust this place. The number of times theyve lied, denied mistakes, blamed mistakes on me, and never apologized is astounding. Dog boarding is a trust-based service, and theyve entirely lost my trust.

My dog had cuts by his a*** and could have become septic. Severe swelling after the grooming. Vet bill was $220 and included steroid shot, antibiotic shot and topical cream to be applied three times daily. The manager said I signed a document saying my dog may be cut and hasnt reimbursed the vet bill.

Found out my dog had cancer and was needing to be put down within 2 days. I called 4 Paws to see if they had last minute swimming the next day for my dog to swim with his brother one last time. We drove 2 hours to get there and it was so worth it. We had the whole pool to ourselves. Staff took pictures and videos of us which was so sweet. My dogs loved swimming together and my dog was happy for the first time in months. 4 Paws not only gave my dog a cake with his name on it, but they also told me that the swim for that day was complimentary. I would go back here 100 times and do it all over again. Needless to say there was not a dry eye in the room and they had the best customer service. I appreciate them making his last day the best and being so kind!
