I purchased a manufactured home from this company (through **************************) in May of 2024. I was told it would be delivered by middle/end of July. It didn't arrive until end of August! Then it took another 4-6 weeks until I was able to move in. After I moved in so many things were wrong. These are my main concerns due to warranty running out after 1 year. Siding keeps coming off from wind, furnace has broken down 3 time (motor replaced twice), water heater broken 2 times, oven makes unusual noises (scared to use it), fire in microwave (no metal in it), and the biggest issue is popping from the ductwork. This has been reported and ignored since September. This noise is a health hazard to me. I can't get a full night's rest often have to sleep on the couch. I have 3 jobs and can't concentrate because I'm so tired. We have had experts look at it and give estimates, their contractor came to look at it and they refuse to fix the issue. It is getting worse. It now happens in all the rooms, but worse in the master. I can not live like this. For days I have no hot water or heat. The constant popping is driving me crazy. This needs to be fixed! I did not pay all this money for a piece of junk! I have spoken with neighbors and nobody has this issue. Nobody has as many problems with their home as I do! I can't keep living like this! At this point I just want them to take it back and give me my money back. The way they are ignoring and stalling this situation is criminal! I wasn't expecting highest quality, but I was expecting to have normal living conditions. I have months of emails with ******, ******* and *****. I have text messages with owner of J&J homes and contractor sent by Adventure homes. **************** is also aware of the issues and has reports. Please do your job and fix this!Video is of the noises from the ducts. Imagine listening to this all night every night for months. This is torturous and it's only getting worse!Business Response

Ms. **** has notified us of the issues she has had with the appliances in her home. She was given the warranty information for the specific appliance manufacturer to contact as they hold their own warranty on the appliances as stated in our warranty manual. The siding on her home in a certain area blew off a few times, but the last we knew it was repaired, and she stated it was good but that she would let us know if it blew off again and we haven't heard anything more about it so we assumed it was repaired properly. Regarding her duct noise that she is hearing, we have had someone out to inspect it, and when the contractor was there, he couldn't hear the noise she was explaining to him, so he wasn't able to diagnose it beyond what he thought it might be. We haven't received an inspection report from anyone that she has had look at it, and we are more than willing to make repairs if someone can tell us what the root cause is. However just sending us a bid for several thousand dollars to replace duct work with no root cause to the issue is not acceptable, without knowing this is going to fix the issue. However, we did receive a video this week from Ms. **** that we were able to hear the noise that she is reporting, we shared it with other management members and we do feel this is something that needs resolved but we do not feel it is a duct issue. We are not trying to ignore the issue and we have reached back out to Ms. **** today to discuss further but have not received a return call yet. Thank youInitial Complaint

We purchased an Adventure Home on June 14, 2023. There are several issues that have not been resolved! Had a walk through 6/14/23 with construction manager of **************** ******. Several items were noted & apparently sent to Adventure. We were told it would be 4-6 weeks before Adventure would come out to fix everything! Then on July 11, 2023 did another walkthrough with ************* a contractor for Adventure. I had a list of things that was needed room by room. We went through & marked down who would fix/repair what. And then was told needed to make appointment for Adventurer to come out & fix their items! We did on July 25, 2023. Adventurers contractor came out & fixed some of the items! Did not have any interior/exterior doors that needed replaced nor any of the drawers/cabinet doors that needed replaced. Fixed floor squeaks but still had one and the same area. Said it was underpayment. (Floor guy said it was not) adjusted light switches/outlets that were all installed crooked. Adjust some cabinet doors for slow close, fixed countertop that was sagging! Adjusted door in den that was dragging carpet the same with master bedroom closet door. Now I am being told they cant give us a date they will be back to fix all the items they didnt! Spoke to a *** at **************************** apparently thought my complaints were funny! She told me to calm down! I will not calm down! They all took our money for this shabby home!Business Response

I have reviewed all of the information regarding this claim. I see that ********** Construction did make many repairs as they were reported to Adventure, but upon being in the home there were some things that were not reported correctly or not at all. The front door was replaced on his visit the week of July 25th along with many other cosmetic items. The cab doors and drawers were not reported to be replaced only touched up as well as the rear door. We do currently have a new work being entered for these items to be replaced along with a list of others items to be corrected or replaced. The contractor cannot give a schedule date to return until all of the materials have been ordered and he is able to pick them up. However, tentatively he is scheduled to be back in the park the first week of September, pending the status of the parts. As far as the the csr ****, laughing at her, I was not here when that conversation took place but she says that did not happen, that she was simply trying to get the homeowner to calm down because she was yelling at her.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
I am unable to send attached copies of room by room walkthrough done by **** (contractor for Adventure) & ****** from Oaks done on July 11, 2023. This list was put together from the walk through we did one week before closing & then the morning of closing on June 14, 2023. We were also told that if we found anything else put on list for when Adventure comes for walkthrough on July 11, 2023. I have them all if Adventure would care to see it! Of which we did on the walk through on July 11th. One week before they came out to fix. In regards to the front door yes they replaced it but there is a gap where you can see outside! I guess they didnt look for that. The cabinets & drawers WERE reported before we even closed! There is a film all over them, gouges, some look like they have pencil marks on them, staples coming through, drawers broke, cabinet door broke twice! Also **** saw all of these on his walk through but brought nothing to replace or repair. Why do I have to accept cabinet doors & drawers that are like this & was is the film, smudges all over them Need did any fillers on these. My question to Adventure is this what you want your work to be with everything that is wrong? If so, how sad is that! The rear door was to be replaced per **** & ****** on that day of July 11, 2023 I regards to the squeaks of our floor **** fixed all but one & said it was the floor people. Well they came out & said it was not underlayment it was on Adventurer! This is what happens it is always someone elses problem. But we bought a ADVENTURE HOME. So squeak needs fixed. Exterior doors that were on this home were all messed up! Some were too short, some were dragging on carpet, some will not stay open, some squeak, some are damaged (but was still put on). And regards to Aime yes she was laughing & you are right you were not there I was! And maybe if Adventure doesnt want irate upset customers calling them then think about making better homes! We closed on June 14th and we still have to wait until sometime in September to get our home complete? Why are we having to wait? And I know we are not the only people in this community complaining because we have all talked! Maybe someone from Adventure would like to come here & see the shoddy work they do.Business Response

I ask on my previous communication that i wanted a list of what exactly they were doing! They came out the first time & didnt take care of the items they were suppose. I am tired of waiting to hear from Adventure when they are coming & what they will be doing! Will they be prepared this time? I want to know what all they are doing! LIST LISTCustomer Answer

My complaint against Adventure Homes:
I was told back on September 1, 2023 that the company would be out to our home the week of September 11th and we would be contacted for the date & time! I have never heard from them. I will not wait for them to call a day before to say they are coming the next day! Also they never sent the list I requested on repairs!

I was told by the company Adventure that they would be out the week of the 11th. Well contractor was suppose to be here on Wednesday 9/13/23 sometime from 10:00am to 1pm! Never showed up. Called ****** at the Oaks & she said that she texted him & he was not responding & that she had reminded him that morning. At 4:30 finally showed up to tell us material was damaged that was for our home & he had called & left message to the people at Adventure on what he was suppose to do but no one was returning his call. Said he would let us know the next day Thursday 9/14/23 one way or another what was going on with our house! Guess what! NOT A PEEP FROM HIM OR ADVENTURE! So here we are 90 days into our home & items from walkthroughs are still NOT done! ************ is the worst company I have ever dealt with & they care absolutely nothing about their homes they build. They are junk! So whoever the person was answering my complaint I would have to say he is a liar!
What are my next steps? The attorney generals office? What can be done?

We have no reports of this homeowner reaching out to us, but we did reach out to him today and briefly spoke as he was going into work. But he did say that he has been reporting it to the retailer, ***** Home not Adventure Homes. However, now that we have made contact with him, we will work on getting his issues resolved.
