    They owe me $8000 for a deposit they took to start my driveway and curbs and took my money and disappeared.

    This business was contacted based on a high recommendation from My Little Red Wagon Landscaping LLC last April. Owner *********** came and quoted our retaining concrete wall project for $17,600. Payment was issued on April 13th for $ 8800.Trench was dug and a footer to be poured on May 31st. Owner double scheduled himself and was unable to do the work that week. Upon our inspection of the dug ditch caught many concerns as he would be pouring on top of a tree ***** and up against an existing tree. Upon this discussion with ********* become concerned that he did not have the expertise needed for this project. We requested project be cancelled. (This was the last contact with owner as he has had an employee named **** take over communication. )Gear and tools remained on site and on June 20th an invoice was received indicating $8,157 of our initial deposit had been spent. June 25th - My husband did his calculations and offered for the company to keep ******** and return a balance of ********. June 30th - Forms and rebar were picked up July 1st - we thanked them for picking up gear and requested an updated on the funds to be returned. Owner as given notice that we would be contacting BBB if issue not resolved.July 5th we reached out again. **** said they would review and respond asap.July 8th we asked for update and were told a check would be sent next week. July 18th no checked has been received so again have requested an update.Today (24 hours later) we have had no contact.
