I am reporting this business for deceptive practices. I received a text that I had not donated in a while so they offered me a $50 bonus. The first time I responded to the text was April 25th. I went in and donated but did not receive a bonus. I realized later that the donors are expected to show the coupon first in order to receive a bonus. I believe this is extremely deceptive because the text did not state this. I was willing to accept the loss. The second time, I received another bonus offer and went in to donate. This time, I showed the text before donating and the employee said she would make a note of it. I still did not receive the bonus. This is even more frustrating because my donation took nearly 3 hours both times. An employee made a joke my last visit (August 3, 2023) that I must have had pork chops the night before. I am not new to donating plasma, I have been doing it for years. I know to eat low fat foods and drink plenty of water the day before and the day of the donation. I believe this center uses old machines because they are drastically different from the machines at other plasma centers such as *** Plasma and ********** Plasma and I've never had a donation take 3 hours at either of these places. Their deceptive practices caused me to waste 6 hours of my life for a mere $80. The payment was $40 each time, and I never would have driven 16 miles and sat 3 hours for that. I would like my 2 bonuses totaling $100. I am including screenshots of the texts, the coupon, and proof that I didn't receive a bonus either time from the ******* app. They also take more plasma from people who weigh more but do not pay extra for this, and I think it is unfair.
