    Breck's is a terrible disappointment. I placed an online gift order for potted amaryllis to be shipped - ASAP- to family and friends way ahead of Christmas. No one received their gift! I called in to customer service who offered little to no assistance except to say they had problems with their website. I placed second order and again no one received their amaryllis! GET YOUR WEBSITE FIXED, DUMMIES!

    Not even one star. I HAD TO PUT UP ONE STAR TO PUBLISH THIS. The worst website I have ever encountered, bar none! Spent an hour trying to order something. Forget it. The next day, had my IT TECH husband try to help me, and NOPE.

    I echo the comments Im seeing here. Very often a floral gift is tied to a specific date, so when I placed two orders and chose them to be delivered on a specific date, thats what needed to happen. Instead, they were finally packaged and shipped on that date, without even an estimated delivery date. Brecks, this is an easy fix: Just communicate realistic delivery expectations to your customers. Just tell them that specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Send them a text or email if the gift doesnt go out in time for arrival on the requested date . This is what customers can reasonably expect in 2024.

    Horrible service. We do not have a sales tax in the state in which I ordered but was sent a bill for the sales tax because it was 'shipped' to a state that does have sales tax. No where in the catalog does it say this! When I called to have the tax removed they would not but offered me a $5.00 gift certificate towards my next purchase. Told them to apply the 5.00 to the sales tax and then keep the change. I was laughed at. I will never do business with them again!

    There are so many things about this *** company to review. This can be verified, and I am not making any of this up. First, I went online to order. Up pops a $5 coupon applied automatically. The item I was buying cost $54.99. With the coupon applied, the cost was now $49.99. They provide free shipping on orders over $50. I ended up paying another $17. Second, I placed this order on December 14. On more than one spot on the website, it explicitly states that all orders have to be done by Dec. 15 to be "guaranteed" delivery by Christmas. I receive an email stating that it will be delivered on Dec. 29. Third, the "gift" was delivered on Dec. 30 and was destroyed. You couldn't even tell what it was supposed to be. This "customer service" oriented company made it up to me by issuing my "in store" credit. I told them they can take their credit and stick it where the sun don't shine.

    First, Better Business Bureau, how can Breck's Gifts have an A+ rating with all of these one star reviews????? This doesn't make sense why customer reviews are NOT used in your rating scale!I placed an order with Brecks on November 24 for three items -- a 3 month bulb garden, and two separate one time bulb gardens. I was billed $83 for shipping, when the shipping cost is listed as $13.99 for the first item, and $4.99 for each subsequent item -- my math says this comes to $23.97. I called customer service (disconnected twice!) to inquire and they tell me that there is a 17% charge on WEB SITE orders over and above shipping cost -- still nowhere near $83. This 17% is not charged if an order is placed on the telephone. So, very deceptive, and customer service does not seem to want to resolve the issue. Needless to say, this is my LAST order from Breck's Gifts.

    Received a garden decoration as a Christmas gift In about 100 pieces, called customer service and they looked up the package by the tracking number and re-sent another item. The second one arrived in 20 pieces. Called customer service again, they said they could not find it by the tracking number. They found it by senders name and zip code and told us that the sender had to call them even though there was no problem the first time. The styrofoam in the box is flimsy and so is the box. The packaging is original from China . The customer service woman made my wife feel like we were trying to scam them

    Their customer service can't even be called that! What a rip off. Never ordering from there again. They shipped a dead amaryllis to my daughter in law and want me to pay the postage for the replacement. The replacement certificate number they sent doesn't work, so now no gift. Can't get ahold of a real person. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM! And they don't ship to Idaho--how lame is that! They did last year. I would give NO stars.
