I received a quote based off the *** I provided. Once I received the quote, the email says the quote is good for 7 days and to call to schedule if I would like to proceed. I call back on day 5. However, I was asked for pictures. I am thinking ok that is fair. I provide the pictures. They call back and instead of providing the quoted $1,221 they would only over $250. The claim was they did not know it was an ATV, and thought it was a car. The *** I submitted provides all that information, and gave me a $1,221 quote. Is it legal for them to provide quotes, and back out when I try to proceed?

I called cashforcars.com to sell a 2015 **** Taurus that i wanted to get rid of. They offered me $700.00 for the car with as long as i had up to date documentation and free pickup. I have the title the lien release and the title correction paperwork they sent me. They then told me i had to go to the department of motor vehicles to get the most updated title and documentation of the lien release. I went to the dmv and they told me i have the most updated title and the lien release was valid and needed no additional documentation in the ****************** for a legal sale. I called them back with this information and they wanted me to sign a power of attorny agreement to finalize the sale. I refused. They have all the paperwork they need already to purchase the vehicle in the ****************** and a verbal contract that they have recorded is binding in the ******************. I just want them to come pick up the car and give me a check for $700.00 as verbally agreed with good documentation.

This company made me a written GUARANTEED offer (via email) and when I have tried to accept the offer, they do not respond to me- but they send me spam emails repeatedly instead. I called the company and attempted to start the process over again with ********************* and she requested more information and stated that the previous offer was not guaranteed (even though I have it in writing). I sent additional information as requested and she will not respond to me now. I accepted the offer previously, they owe me the money for the vehicle and they need to come get it.
