We purchased a vehicle from this dealership. At the time of purchase, the air conditioner was not working. The dealership promised to repair it (in writing/text). Over the course of the last year, they attempted to repair it-without resolution. When the service department informed them that they would need additional funds to complete the repair, Shroeders automotive refused to pay it. The air conditioner is not repaired and does not work and hasnt for the entire time weve owned it.

When customer purchased vehicle a/c was not cooling, we brought it into our shop to diagnose and repair.  We found that the ***** (totally integrated power module), was defective. We replaced **** and system worked correctly.  Also, system pressures were good, and air discharged temperature was proper.  Road test vehicle, vehicle past quality control check.

Delivered to customer, vehicle headed to ** a/c was working fine.  After they drove through Tennessee customer said A/C quit working.  They continued to FL then contacted us.  We referred them to the Jeep dealer which was *******.  ******* service department checked out vehicle.  They stated that the **** was bad, which we disagreed with but had them replace anyway.  ******* replaced ***** A/C system still did not work.  They then said control head was faulty.  We agreed to have them replace it. Upon completion they said the system was working properly.  The total bill for those repairs which we paid for was $3,429.21.

The customer picked up vehicle and at a later date said A/C was not cooling again.  They took the vehicle back to *******, ******* said that it was low on freon due to the evaporator leaking at this time.  They estimate for this repair was another $3500.00.

Considering at the time of purchase the customer signed the AS-IS-SOLD WITHOUT WARRANTY agreement and was offered a Vehicle Service Contract and declined.

We feel that we have went over and above our obligations in trying to resolve this situation.

Please find attached the following documents.  AS-IS, Decline of VSC, and the *********************** which we paid in full.
