    The Retreat Northwest which is owned by ******** filed an unlawful eviction proceeding against us. My roommate and I leased an apartment from ******** at the Retreat Northwest in ************ in December, 2023. We were grossly overcharged in error on our sewer bill in February, 2024 and contacted the leasing office who instructed us 7 times not to pay rent or utilities until the sewer bill was reduced. After chronic non response (we contacted the leasing office 15 times) and poor guidance and communication, ********, the corporate owner with no notice to us, filed unlawful eviction against us for nonpayment in April, 2024 after the property manager and leasing agents that worked for ********, instructed us continually not to pay rent or utilities until the sewer bill was revised. We have requested for ******** to expunge the eviction proceeding and they told us we have to do it. We would like this information to be published to protect other tenants from this type of abuse as they have purchased several apartment complexes in *******. I selected number 1 as a star rating because I couldn't select a lower star rating. They don't deserve any rating.Don't rent from these people.
