    Apartment renter at ************************************ NOT sign a rental agreement with "The Stratford." Building 5220. It is plagued with...1. Constant maintenance problems. Constantly working to restore hot water. 2. Non-tenant drug users who regularly stay all night in stairwell.3. Pests, including roaches, birds living the attic, lots of barking dogs.4. A Clubhouse that management allows users to blast music in until 3:00 a.m. and beyond.5. Community coin-op laundry that machines aren't marked as broken and steal your money.6. Slow response or no response to maintenance requests. More frequently complaints go unanswered or just plain ignored.7. Management posted flyers in building informing tenants to "BE AWARE" because individuals have been seen in and around building with guns.8. Many, many people without license plates on cars frequent building and quickly leave. Lots of marijuana smells in common area.9. Rent increase of 10% if going month to month after one year lease obligations fulfilled.10. Loud late night neighbors, door slamming, verbal yelling and strangers non-tenants making noise in hallways all night.11. Website maintenance requests get marked "Complete" when no work has been done at all to make repairs. ************ personnel make no attempt with tenants to confirm work has been completed with follow-up phone call.12. Teenagers breaking into mailboxes and stealing mail.13. Monthly hidden fees written into lease are added onto rent and are unknown to renter until they go over lease with leasing agent.I understand why "The Stratford" is not BBB accredited. They must be the low end of their parent company Blue Leaf Residential Properties. Unless they are not accredited also. Giving Zero stars to The Stratford would qualify as being generous.
