    Ive had non stop issues with these apartments since I applied before I even moved in. I assumed it was just the individual in the office that was causing confusion at the time but its the entire management and maintenance staff. The first week I noticed a leak and called maintenance and realized maintenance was terrible. I mentioned to them that my water doesnt get hot and they told me I theres one water heater for multiple units and I should shower at a different time of day. This was in June. Ive been complaining nonstop, today March 1st I still do not have hot water. At some point in mid December they got the hot water to work as it should but by February it was back to no hot water. A couple days ago a maintenance *** told me all units in your building have hot water but you, were not coming because theres nothing we can do. In the midst of all of this I started getting lots of extra charges on my account in September. When I asked the office about them and why they would change daily they told me they had no idea why that was happening. They advised me to just pay the amount I know I owed and theyd remove the charges. Theyve threatened to evict me every month since then because these extra charges. I actually paid the access charges (that I didnt owe) in October( $425plus) because I didnt want to be evicted. The next month I had more charges. The manager tells me shell have them removed every month and then signs ******************************************************* asking when Im planning to pay these charges. Shes polite in person but rude over the phone. DO NOT MOVE TO THESE APARTMENTS!

    We had a leak from our dishwasher that caused mold in the subfloor. The complex ripped up and replace the floor but we have been left for 4 months without a proper working kitchen as a result. The island had to be replaced to remove the mold and fix the floor. For the first month after they took out the island, the complex did nothing to set up a kitchen sink for up. We were doing dishes in the bathroom sink. After 1 month the maintenance manager set up a temporary counter so we can use the kitchen sink but it was not a proper set up. The wires are still exposed and we have outlets we can't use due to the breakers being shut off.

    November 2, 2023 $1,780.50 was withdrawn for my Rent for November 2023. Misinformation caused me to be charged $400 over my actual rent. As to this day I have not Recieved a refund, contacted ***** Insurance, they have no record of transaction. Contacted my insurance company to confirm my coverage, sent that information to ***** insurance, they cancelled any extra coverage. Proving someone stole $400 from my account. No reimbursement to this day. I am on a fixed income, cant afford that.

    I moved in my apartment in June 2023. When I moved in there was issues with heat and air. When winter hit the heat did not work at all. I ended up having to contact the health department and it wasnt fixed until January. I also had issues with plumbing, dish washer, garbage disposal, water leak that was left all weekend and still not corrected and bath tubs that wasnt glazed. I also lost my job and contacted the apartments multiple times to be let out my lease before things even got this far of which they did not respond. I moved out of the unit and now they are charging me $10,000. I dont feel that I should be responsible for this large of amount. I would like the fees to all be dismissed but, thats not possible. I only asked that they waive for November through January due to breach of contract and negligence. I was forced to find my own accommodations whiles having two special need childrens who lacked care due to this and an elderly sick parent.

    The apartment company is trying to bill me for rent, utilities, and late fees past my actual move out date. I submitted a 60 day notice on 2/6/2024 indicating I will be moving out at my lease end of 4/26/2024. The office was closed when I tried to submit my keys, and was advised it was okay to mail them in. I did not hear back from the apartment about any additional charges, but received a bill from an additional company saying I owed $941 for rent, utilities, and late fees through 5/15/2024. Veridian Castleton has not responded to my email about this.

    In September 2023 I applied to live at this apartment complex in that same month my application was denied. They advertised and confirmed that I would receive a refund of my admin fee if for any reason they couldnt get me approved to live at these apartments. I reach out via phone and email since being disapproved and was ignored. I then left a review on ****** and they told me to call only for them to not answer. They intentionally misrepresented facts and falsely advertised their company. Finding a home has already been a painful process and the ordeal they took me through didnt make this process any better.

    My apartment complex has been terrible about fixing maintenance issues. The current, most pressing issue, is that there have been tiles from the shower that have been loose since I moved in two and a half years ago. I notified them of the problem, but they never fixed it. On 9/22/23 I notified the emergency maintenance line that the shower was leaking into the ceiling of the kitchen and onto the floor of the bathroom. They came out and checked it, and told us that they needed to hire contractors for the bathroom and the kitchen ceiling. I also have a broken back door handle which they have also been notified of as well. They have been avoiding contact ever since initially coming to look at the shower. I have sent an email, called, and gone into the office, only to be told that no one knew about the problem, including the head of maintenance. I have been avoiding using the shower ever since 9/22. On the apartment's work orders website, it states that the work has been completed, however they have not come back to even look at the issues. There have been several other issues which have also been ignored, but the shower and the back door handle are the most frustrating.

    I moved in 2/18/23. At the time the company requires renters insurance, which I obtained. 4 months after I moved in they said I didnt have it on file so I resent my insurance I information. 1 month ago I was told again I dont have insurance and I realized they charged me $14/month since March for no renters insurance. I spoke with someone in the office who finally told me I need to add an additional address to the policy. So I did and now the office is refusing to give me my money back for all the months they charged me for not having the insurance. I was told they have some community page where this information is at. And again I wasnt an aware. They have went through so many staff members since *** moved in and no information is given out correctly. I also sent them emails showing that I turned in the papers but no one ever said they needed updated. I want my money back

    Veridian has been the worst apartment complex that *** ever lived in. They dont answer maintenance issues. Every time a maintenance man enters our home they dont have the correct tools to complete the job, and they state to us that the parts are on back order. We have so many maintenance issues in our apartment that havent been addressed in months. The front office staff members are extremely rude. ********************* talks to tenants as if they are a piece of scum on the bottom of a shoe. Shes very unprofessional and needs to transition to a lower position because her professionalism isnt up to par. We have to take showers in sewage smelling water (which I will be contacting the health department about) we have absolutely nooo screens on our bedroom windows, which is a safety hazard. The pool hasnt been open all year. We are paying for amenities and cant even access them. They are too busy worrying about eviction notices, then to worry about the property at hand because its trash. I wouldnt even let me dog stay here. My biggest Concern is **************** Something needs to be done regarding her nasty attitude, and unprofessionalism.

    Reoccurring issues with apartment ************************ fixing work orders in a reasonable amount of time. Currently have a mold issue in our apartment as well as no working washer/dryer. On January 30th, they came and tore down drywall from one bathroom (only after the health department was contacted) and was told that they are unsure if mold is whats on the wood (picture provided) and that the venting system was also not installed properly so they need to get a contractor out. I have been calling the local office and regional manager to get status on when they are going to finish and I can not get through or am not able to get a solid answer. They are aware my daughter has asthma and we continue to get sick and unfortunately doesnt seem to make this process move any faster. With the washer/dryer issue, we are told we can use the pay facilities in the building behind us. That facility is also non functioning and a complete disaster as well. No lights, tiles falling down, standing water left in washer, debris everywhere.
