Ive had to replace a coolant tank in the first 2 weeks of having a car because the old one had a crack in it and it would spray all of the coolant out which it caused my car to start overheating because there was no coolant so I had to buy 3 bottles off coolant a day just to get around I told the carlot what was happening with the car they picked it up. I called them 2 days after them having the car and the lady told me that the car needed a new water pump and a couple other things so about a week goes by and I go up to the carlot and they told me that the engine had failed in they care so I had to wait 5 weeks for them to order a new engine and put it in and once I got the car back a week later the car started smoking real bad out the muffler and the car was shutting off by itself so I had to call them so they can tow it and when I called them they told me the turbos failed which is linked to the engine so now I have to wait for them to order another part. And in the mist of all this they want me to pay 200 for them fixing the engine while I was only on day 30 in a 2 year warranty they also wants me to keep paying the car note while its in there care they are asking me to pay a car note for a car I cant drive how am I supposed to make money if I dont have the car I had to switch my son schools due to truancy because he was missing so many days because I couldnt take him to school because the car was messing up I just wanna be done with pls its no way Im going thru all of this and I havent even had the car for a year I have three kids when the car was shutting off on me and my kids while driving on the highway we could have literally lost our lives due to them not fixing the car the correct way the first time when they put a new engine in this has caused me so much anxiety mental and emotional distressInitial Complaint

I purchased this vehicle back in March. I have had the car about 7 months. It has been in the shop now. 8 times payments are up-to-date. The company still expects a payment even if the car is not running. Not, I have spent over a $1000 in car rentals. No professionalism, no one will call me back this last time. My car has been gone 14 days. I tried calling claims no one is saying to help me. So this is my next option. What company and business can be ran this way and then on top of it? The general manager that it was a dealership is very rude and unprofessional.Initial Complaint

May 1st 2024 I paid PLS auto 1150 for a Buick enclave. The day I purchased the vehicle ******** who works there told me the car wasnt available and it wouldnt be available u til that following Friday so two days after I purchased the car. I call that Friday and they tell me the car wont be fixed until a week later. I pick the car up and the car wasnt fixed so I called them and told them the car wasnt fixed. They schedule me an appointment a month out from the day I got the car. They have had the car since June 11th the manager **** said he was going to take the car to a third party mechanic because they were already behind with cars before me. The third party mechanic shop he brought the car to told me **** told them to fix the ac turn the engine light off and fix the wheel alignment and let her pick it up at 6PM which was June 14th. The mechanic called back and said he wouldnt be able to work on the car because he would have to literally take the car apart and fix the holes and leaks in the ignition coil spark plugs and puddles of water leaking inside the car, the speakers in the car doesnt work and the A.C doesnt work due to the water damage. **** picks it up from the mechanic June 17th and I called him he ignored my calls, left me on hold for over ******************************************** a new car I cant get my money back and I have to wait until they are done fixing my car (which he doesnt have a time frame for because the lazy mechanics at pls auto is so far behind it can take months) as if I dont have a career and three kids to take care of. So with that being said Im looking for attorneys. Ive been losing wages since getting that car from them. They are horrible Ive been patient enough bringing the car up there every week since May 1st I paid 1150 plus 278 2x and ***************** up in my face when I asked can I atleast be put in another car because you gave me a car broken down and I cant afford to miss work.Initial Complaint

I am financing a car through PLS Auto here in ****** *****. They are permanently closed down. I been having trouble with my car. I was promised to come back when I got my car that next week to get it fix n it was closed down permanently. They hound me about paying the note but don't want to help me with my car. I had a 2-year warranty but they told me I lost it cause the company closed down. I have paid $6,456 in all and is getting treated very awful. I have to call PLS and talk to someone in another state. I talked to a representative she told me just to give the car up but I can't. I need my car and my credit is going to be bad. Please help me.... I went into the office out west off 38th street on September 29th and got a Saturn Vue 2008 ! I put $500 down and got the car Same day the car cuts off on me and my children. Pls had the car towed back to Their lot ! Got the vue back 3week or longer Due to it needed a new ignition make a payment the car goes back to the shop stated it needed a the wires to the battery needed replaced !! Gets the car back again it making loud noises and seeming as if it in a chokehold and cant catch gas to go sends the car back they say it needs a new engine !!! They have the car for two weeks pick the car up and its doing the same exact thing keep Cutting off the ***************** at pls WILL NEVER GET ON THE ***** HE TOLD AN EMPLOYEE ******** THAT HE WOULD PUT ME IN ANOTHER *** ON TUESDAY JANUARY 2nd,2024 now thats is time to get another car ******************* WONT PICK UP THE ***** AND OR CALLS ME LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD HE HAVE HIS EMPLOYEES TALK FOR HIM AND HE NEVER HANDLES HIS BUSINESS **** IS STATING I NEED TO PUT $500 down to get into another. Purchases a car March 3 2022 started having problems March 7th they have an employee even said they don't even buy my car type because they run so bad ...they have had the car back over 8 times to fix it...never fixed...car had a bad parts on it i caused an accident and all in the vehicle ..I called and called no call back was told I would get a trade in when I came the manager **** who ask me to come never acknowledged me not once ...I have been lied to on several different occasions..and gave the run around my son whom.have special needs have missed appointments due to not being able to transport my children in such a bad vehicle I have been forced to start over after paying almost 8 grand plus 156 full coverage insurance and haven't even gotten to.enjoy the car I pay ****** biweekly and get treated like trash I really need some help I have 4 children whom have been without transportation and lost out on my job and all and no one is takin this seriouslyInitial Complaint

We originally bought a ***** Colorado from PLS and the frame was rusted before they sold it to ** without letting us know. the car went in for warranty work for sensor issues. The place we took it to refused to do the work because the frame was broken in multiple areas. They gave us a 2nd vehicle which was a ******* Frontier they stated it would shut off randomly and said it would run fine. It started shutting off more frequently when we moved to ********** **. PLS had ** take it to a ****** dealership here in ** for warranty work to hopefully fix the problem and then it still was shutting off randomly and then one day on the way home from work something exploded in The engine bay resulting to oil everywhere on the road and 911 service being dispatched to the location. We stated to PLS Auto we dont want this vehicle anymore and we will not pay for something that is not drivable due to there negligence. They still took the car payment out after I stated we wouldnt pay it. We are not the only people whom have had major issues with this company as well. The employee that sold us the vehicle was also driving it as well before selling it to us. He was driving it for approximately a year and stated it shuts off randomly but works. We also told them that we are moving to another state and they said for us to lie on the documents that we still live in *******. When my wife called today they said they wouldnt deal with us anymore and the issues with the vehicle is our doing. We have a witness for them telling us this all. It's simple, I buying a car from PLS Auto, the car was messed up from the start, they knew this, they lead and dragged it out until they said it's not under the warranty, but they told me nothing was wrong with it each time I brought it, but now they hand me a list of the car problems, and it's not covered, but I never got the truth about the brakes on the back, but nothing was wrong, but now your telling me I need roters and brakes, plus other problems, I was manipulated and lied too the whole time but made all my payments on time, are you telling me the BBB cover crooks like this?Initial Complaint

9/2022 My car has been repo'd 3 times this will be my my 4th.Due to me loosing my job and being in the hospital sick. I do get social security that's my only income I got my car back from being repossessed the 30th of August I was sick and my mom talk to PLS Auto located in ******* far as payments and what I'll have to pay to get my car back well I also spoken with them also far as payments etc. Well my aunt told me they knocked off 400 again the representatives never told me or my aunt that they was giving us an ultimaten however all we had to pay was $602.25 I payed $200 the 19th of August and $402 which was the rest however September's payment was due the 3rd of September which is $495 I'm not behind or anything I'm just really late!! Well never once was I told if I didn't pay on the 3rd that I would have to pay the remaining $400 dollars of the $1000 if I don't keep my arrangements I even talk to the representatives before the 3rd not once said anything about paying the balance or repo fee nothing! One representative even said she would play back the tape between my aunt and another representative never said anything or got back with us as of Tuesday 9/20/22 my car is on the repo list again!!! Which is crazy I've been trying my best to keep this cat etc. They nevered cared about me loosing my job nothing all they want is the money which is sad!!! I've known people that's 3 and 4 months behind and they never onced was up for repo they can have the car this time when it gets repo last time the ************** they use towed my car with me inside it in the air I should've gotten a lawyer cause I hurt my leg etc. It's just sad that this place is like this the worst ever my fee now is $849.00 and change really should just be this month's payment which is $495.00 All they want is money they are liars never said anything about a fee the earliest I'll have the payment is the 27th or 28th I just started a new job etc. I just don't understand there gonna have to sell theInitial Complaint

pls sold us a car we got to drive 3 days and it had to go in shop the had almost a month and we let go back sound like it would have other problem but they said it would be a repo how when we didn't even have a week they took $500 down then the took a payment in Aug of $549 when we didn't even have the car they say they can't give us no money back which isn't right at all they should give something back and it shouldn't be a repo either they had the car we seen it for less the a week pls help
