My father ************************************* originally put in an application in November of 2023 and paid an application fee and was told an apartment would be ready in December. I was informed the office lady was no longer with the company. I spoke with ***** I believe it was in March. I was inform that his application was outdated and he needed to submit another one. That was completed in March. He made a nonrefundable deposit of $175 on April 22, 2024. The property manager supposedly submitted his *** back to section 8 on 04/25/2024. They never received it. I had to get the *** and drop it off to section 8 myself. Section 8 stated that the paperwork wasn't completed. The property manager stated that she was waiting on her Regional manager to get her the documents that she needed for section 8. After dodging my call I finally meet her at the apartment. At that time she states that her manager quit and someone else was going to help her get the documents. Which never happened. On June 18th section 8 sent an email with ***** and myself stating that she was able to go on the assessors website and get the property card. On June 21th section 8 came out to do an inspection and she was not in the office as she agreed to the appointment. The inspection was rescheduled for June 26th which failed. She never rescheduled or responded to my emails since. This have been a lengthy, long and stressful process. He is currently on a fix income and can not afford multiple applications and deposits that are nonrefundable. I have spoke with the new lady in the office over the last week and she stated that she don't know anything. Right now he is feeling he was ripped off the application fee and deposit that he can't get back. Hoping this can be a priority yo someone due to the lengthy process we have already experienced. I would truly appreciate it if I could receive a call or email regarding this matter. ******************************* ************Initial Complaint

My apartment is on the 1st floor and I am contently having my apartment flooded. Where I am having sewage come up from my toilet, bath tub and kitchen sink. I am a single mother with 3 children at home. I have a 7yr old, 8yr old and a 13yr old. When my apartment floods it will take on average of 3 days of me continually calling the emergency line with no response. The first time this happened was on:Easter, April 9th 2023 They did not get back to me until Monday, but was not fixed until Wednesday April 12th. The 2nd occurrence happened on December 16th 2023. This happened on a Saturday, I did not get a response until Monday and the matter was not fixed until the following Friday December 23rd. This last time was on March 22nd 2024. This happened on a Friday night, I was not getting any response until Monday which I had to take off of work just to wait outside the office to make sure I was able to speak to someone. On Thursday March 28th I was notified by the manager that it has been taking so long because the plumber is refusing any services until outstanding invoices are paid. I am being put into a situation where my families health is being jeopardized by the sewage not only coming up through the pipes but also trying to clean on a continuous basis until they are able to send some one out. Unfortunately I am unable to professionally have my apartment cleaned and sanitized when these events occur, so my family and I have 2 choices, either stay in a flooded apartment or rent a hotel room until the sewage is cleaned up, which is taking on average up to 5 days. And unless I am reimbursed for the hotel, I can not afford to leave. The lack of urgency and not being empathy is making me feel helpless as a mother trying to do what's right and provide a safe environment for my family. TWG Management "*************************" In ********* Demand payment on the 5th if each month in full but has not offered any assistance or reimbursement on any of these occasionsInitial Complaint

I have a current lease with this company. I have had nothing but issues from the application process on. First, I was automatically denied at the background check stage due to an open criminal case, which goes against federal law. I had to petition against that and let them know they were breaking the law and thankfully the mistake was corrected. One of the ladies from the leasing office here, ******* I have caught many times lying to me. She talks down to the residents who live here (this is low-income) and in general does not act professionally. She likes to tell the tenants what is and isnt appropriate in her opinion, as if theyre children. They tried to force me out a month early by coming to me and telling me a mistake was made on the end date for some tenants leases. I had to fight them very hard to get to stay but Im afraid others are still being forced out early. On the day of signing the lease, they had one office employee talking to me while the other had my roommate at the time sign the inventory sheet before we had even gotten a chance to step foot in the apartment. Because the one employee had me distracted, I had no clue what was happening. Had I known, I would not have allowed this to happen. As things stand, the inventory sheet is completely blank but signed so it looks like we agreed everything looked okay and I could now be held responsible for any damage to the unit, even if it was there prior to when I moved in.I am arguing that since I didnt have the chance to inspect the unit before they tricked us into signing the sheet, I would be able to get my full $500 security deposit back. They are not going to do this without intervention from the BBB.Initial Complaint

I have not received my deposit check since moving out. I've contacted the manager at the apartment who told me she sent it weeks ago but it hasn't arrived. She could provide a tracking number nor would she put me in contact with the person who sent it. She also indicated she couldn't resend it. She refused to give me any follow up details or contact information or any resolution on the issue. I've emailed and called several times (can provide documentation if needed).
