      Global Atlantic Financial Group is a SCAM. They charged me $1,155.63 in addition to the total amount of $8,000 for the Funeral Expenses for being 3 weeks late in the pay off at one year. I received NO notification from the agent and the Forethought Life Insurance *** of the due date which was 6-16-24. I received a call from the agent (***********************) on 7-10-24 telling me of the pay off. At 1 year of $5,281.63 as per Global Atlantic Financial Group. I mailed the check of $5,281.63 on 7-10-24 to P.O. ******************************** as I was told to mail to. This is PRICE GOUGING with malicious intent to horrifically take advantage of the elderly ( I am turning 82 in 3 months ) and defraud consumers like me. These people should be held accountable for deceitful practices and fined accordingly as well as refunding me $1,155.63 overcharge with absolutely NO prior notice or warning of the due date.

      My annuity came due May 13th, 2024 from Global Atlantic. I went to my bank to have my *** transferred. The bank completed all the paperwork and Globla Atlantic confirmed they received the paperwork and would process the check to my bank FBO of myself. As of today, 5-30-2024, the bank has not received the check! I have called several times and spoke to numerous people which they Always had a different reason why I did not receive the check,ex: paperwork was not done until the 15th, slow mail etc. I called on 5-28-2024 and Global Atlantic noticed the address they sent the check was Incorrect! Error on their end! They said they would stop payment on the check and overnight a new check to the correct address! I called once again today 5-30-2024, and was told Now They have to do paperwork on the stop payment and monies would not be received until June 4th!UNACCEPTABLE! They would have my funds for 3 weeks! This is not in ANY Way a SMALL AMOUNT of funds! Will file a report with the SEC also.Read several complaints on Global Atlantic, and they are known to HOLD customers funds! Once again this is unacceptable!

      I paid for my pre-need, monthly, for over 2 years. I had my debit card hacked, I did not receive a notification that this affected my account and the bill was not paid. A couple months later I contacted them and told them my situation, told them I had moved, restarted my account and it was set up on automatic billing. The sales lady contacted me the next day and informed me I could not continue with this pre- need account due to moving out of state. The billing continued. After stopping my account by myself I received a $16 check to reimburse me for the money they had taken. My payments were $75 a month.

      Scammers My parents bought funeral insurance. For anybody thinking about this...its a bad idea. First, most beneficiaries won't even know its there so it will never be called. Second, its basically a very low to no interest rate account. And third, when my mom passed away, they want to pay the funeral home directly. Our funeral home charges will be less than what my parents put in the account. I think ********************************************* offers this so that they can hold on to the remaining money. Most people wouldn't know to ask for the rest of it.

      Over two weeks waiting on some mail from global Atlantic still hadn't received it for my annuity distribution I've called three times total maybe there's an issue with the mail

      Terrible service!!!!! Contract ended 11/14/23 and they still have not released money to my new annuity .05% versus 5.5% have lost over $3500.00 interest while they stonewall! DO NOT invest with them gave them 1 star as no stars will not let me post,!

      Received a letter today from this FRAUD COMPANY. If you are honest and legitimate you would not have to be so sketchy on the phone. I DID NOT ORDER THIS POLICY THAT ALLEGEDLY PURCHASED IN ************************************* INFORMATION THAT I PURCHASED THIS. THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU WHO THE POLICY IS FOR AND WANTED MY DATE OF BIRTH AND THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF MY SOCIAL SECURITY. I TOLD HIM TO TELL ME MY LAST 4 AND HE REFUSED. I WILL BE CONTACTING INSURANCE COMMISSIONER FOR THEIR STATE. THEY ARE A SCAM AND A FRAUD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT LET ME FOR FORWARD WITHOUT IT.

      Not very customer oriented. I have an ********************** policy through their First Allamerica group. It was bought ib **** from Mass Mutual and has been traded so many times I am not sure who owns on any given day. They require me to mail a check and have no facility to pay online like EVERY OTHER COMPANY IN THE ****** They claim it is for my protection that I send a check. I guess they never heard of check washing. I will keep paying them and just hope my beneficiaries get their money. At this point I have little faith and would highly recommend anyone to find another financial group to do business with.

      I have invested my money with Global Atlantic Financial Group for 5 year. Finally I requested my invested money to be electronic transfer to my checking account. They sent me application forms and requested a void check included. I did everything they asked me to do, even called in to confirmed. After that, got called from them 5-6 times to confirmed this and that, even what is my marital status. Don't know what 's the issue, everything was written on the forms. And every conversation they would said "everything is good to go". Still no money on my account. My last called to them, spoke to both the customer representative and her supervisor. They both very rude and hyper attitude. Keep telling money been transfer to my check account. Told them not seen. NO HELP. I rushed to my bank like a nervous rack, Come to found out they transferred my money to the temporary void check account which is not my actual check account. WHAT IS PURPOSE FOR ME TO PUT MY ACTUAL CHECK ACCOUNT NUMBERS AND ROUTE NUMBERS ON THE APPLICATION FORMS IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO WHAT I HAVE REQUESTED. OBVIOUSLY SOMEONE WHO WAS PROCESSED THE TRANSFER OF MY MONEY NOT READING THE APPLICATION FORM AT ALL . Sloppy and careless. Not very professional .

      They canceled my check to close my account due to an incorrect date. I corrected the date and am having trouble getting the check reissued due to their inefficiency and poor communication and incompetence. They shoukd get 0 stars.
