On 11/24/21 my car that I am purchasing (2018 **** Edge) from Blossom caught fire. I was able to stop the fire quickly before it caused too much damage. I began my lease agreement with Blossom 03/2021. The fire occurred while the car was parked in a parking lot. I was on my lunch break (30 minutes long) with my cat running as it was cold outside and the I saw smoke from the rear and an awful smell I went to check it out and next thing I knew there were flames! I used a fire extinguisher to put it out! I called Blossom right after the fire got out and I informed them right then that the cat was under warranty and that I just got it less than a year ago! They told me to call my insurance and file a claim! We had the cat towed to Blossom as they have a collision center. We talked immediately with an adjuster and showed them the damage and was informed that someone would reach out after Thanksgiving! Nobody reached out and we again were under warranty and should of been given a loaner cat or rental cat during this process and was not! Many calls were made with no exact answers and still no rental or loaner. Also many calls were sent to voicemails with no return calls. Fast forward to 12/11/2021 and not only do I still not have my cat back but I was also informed on 12/09/2021 that they were going to decide it was a fluke accident and they wouldnt allow it to be put under our warranty. Mind you we opted out of rental on our insurance because I was told many times during the warranty period if anything at all happens to the car we would be taken care of and I was paying $30 extra every month for the warranty so I wasnt going to double pay for it on the insurance too during the warranty period. So now we have spent hundreds of dollars on Ubers and Lyfts and paying people gas money waiting for them to do the warranty just to be told after dragging their feet and playing with us they werent going to cover and we are out money and still no car and the car payment is due!

      ****************** purchased his ******************** about 03/16/21 with ****** miles.

He also purchased a *************** Contract (VSC) which covers specific components listed in the plan if a breakdown occurs due to operational or structural failure of the covered part caused by normal wear and tear, defects in materials, or defects in workmanship. If a breakdown had occurred, then the customer would have been eligible to be reimbursed for a vehicle rental under the plan terms. For example, an alternator breakdown.

The vehicle was checked-in on 11-24-21 with about ****** miles into the collision center due to a fire. These types of incidents are commonly covered by the customers auto insurance policy due to the damage beyond the mechanical components not covered by the ****

In this instance the issue was covered by the customers auto insurance company as it was deemed comprehensive damage. This automatically rules out any coverage under the **** ****************** declined the optional rental coverage under their auto insurance policy when he acquired it. His insurance agent would have explained the optional coverages at the time he purchased the auto policy before making any decision.

The work was completed on 12-20-21 and the customer currently has possession of the vehicle.

      Thank You,
