      I paid 1400 for my security deposit. I left the home without any damages other than paint from a door peeling (which was caused by them). They charged me 500 for paint repair, 450 for trash they had to remove from the home and for floor damage. I have included the pictures of the house when we left. This company is trying to get over on a disabled veteran. They are liars that didn't fix the ** unit, which caused the paint to peel from the door. I also included the move out charges them made up.

      On November 30th, 2022, I turned in my keys, a receipt showing I had the carpets cleaned along with a written forwarding address for the return of my security deposit. When I moved in, I paid with two cashiers checks, I was told to make them both payable to City Place, one for first months rent and another for a security deposit. I have the emails and documents showing everything I have stated above. In the **************** you have 45 days from me turning my forwarding address/keys in to process any charges and provide me with an itemized list of said charges to be withheld from my security deposit. January 14th, 2023, ended that 45 day period and now on January *************** posted charges to my account past the allotted time frame in the ****************. I began calling their office January 17th, I have left voicemails and sent an email and have gotten no response. I did get a call back from someone who was unable to assist me today and sent me to their office phone lines where I again left a voicemail. While living at a property under their care in December 2021, my shower (and the only bathroom on the property) needed to be fixed. They completely took the shower apart to where I was unable to turn on the water and bathe. They left it like that for 3 weeks and gave me no assistance to stay elsewhere. For almost a month a bathed myself in my kitchen sink with a spray hose. Now they are withholding my security deposit from me.

      I recently moved out of ************************************************************ on November 7, 2022. I did go through a mutual release agreement with the company to get out of my lease early to to mold in the home that was causing severe illness's to me and my 3 daughters. They were given all proper information and proof of mold in home and I agreed to not proceed any further with them as long as my lease was released and I got my security deposit back. Manager, ***** seemed to be kind and caring and help me get the release agreement for my lease but when it was time for the security deposit to be returned I did not even get a response till yesterday 1/3/2023. Keep in mind you are supposed to be notified with in 45 days. I called numerous times, emailed numerous times and was treated very rudely and poorly. When I mentioned to manager, ***** that I only left due to mold in the home causing me and my daughters to be ill and that I graciously agreed to not proceed with legal action over the mold, she laughed over the phone stating there is no way anything legal could come about mold. I have been treated as if I do not matter. The illness's the mold caused do not matter, and have been disrespected so many times by *****. When I asked for a manager above her, I was told she was as high as it gets with the company.It would be nice to have proof of why they claim my security deposit can not be returned instead of just an emailed that word for word stated:Hello,The security deposit has been processed and will not be returned due to the conditions of the home per the owners request.       We rented a house on ************************************************************* I and left after 2 years staying there. They said they were going to refund the deposit, but we have not received any check yet. They do not respond our repeated calls and emails.
