I purchased a 2017 ***** Silverado 4/23/25 from this dealership. They told me that they had inspected it. I turned down a warranty as I was trying to keep my payment down and can do small repairs myself. When almost home, I heard a noise coming from the engine. I had to go to work so I decided to have my mechanic look at it. When I was able to get it in to him 4/28/25 he said it was most likely a transmission issue. I called the dealership since this was likely already happening before purchase. It was listed as being on the lot for over 200 days. The dealership told me there was nothing they could do. I have asked for a partial refund to fund to pay for repairs or to return the vehicle. The manager did call me back and say they could look at it and maybe help with some of the cost. I drove it up and dropped it off. They called me back and said $5,000 to fix and a $275 fee for them looking at it, which he didnt mention. There is no way they didnt know of this issue with it being on their lot for that long. I asked for an owner email or number and was refused. I just want them to do the right thing.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appriciate the opprtunity to provide our perspective on the situation with Mr. **** and the 2017 Chevrolet Silvrado.

Our invstigation suggests that the vehicle was used to towing heavy loads, which may have exceeded its capacity. This usage could have caused damage to the transmission.

Mr **** test-drove the vehicle on the day of purchase and did not report any issues, he was offered a warranty but chose to purchase the vehicle AS IS.

We beleive that the issues with the vehicle are likely a result of its usage, rather than any pre-existing condition especially that the vehicle was inspected and our records confirm that it did not have any engine or transmission issues.

We strive to provide quality vehicles and transparent sales processes.

    Sincerely,

    Mo

On 3/20/25 I purchased a 2014 **** Q7 from First motors I test drove it the car ran smooth the sales person ****** said that all it need was a motor mount and the center counsel buttons, and that it both was already Ordered. It was serviced by first motors ****** called me back to pick the car up and stated that the motor mount and center counsel was put in. I put $2,500 down picked it up and I took it to meineke on the 21st they told me that everything looked ok but I need to take it to **** for a full diagnostic due to there system.

Within the first week I brought it back to first motors because there was a low oil pressure sensor keep popping up. The car would turn off on me when I tried to start it but it would start and stay running. There was no check engine light on and the only sensor was the oil pressure. I called the sales person ****** he asked me to check the oil, I ask him why do I need to check the oil when I asked u upon picking the car up was there a fresh oil change done he said yes. I proceeded to check the oil as directed and no oil came on the rag at all the oil was bone dry. I was still on the phone with ****** I told him that I will be bringing the car back the following day bc the dealership were closing in 10min.

I brought the vehicle back that following morning on my way there the check engine light came on, they told me they would need to keep the car for a few days I explained to them Im not from here and Im a single father and I needed a vehicle to get to work and my daughter to daycare. I was informed that they dont do loner vehicles. My car was kept for about 2-3day they called me and told me that my car was ready. I went to pick it up they told me that it needed an oil change and that everything was good and the check engine light was off, the same night the car shut off on me again and oil pressure light came back on. The car eventually started it was late at night so I went straight home. I called **** and made an appointment the quickest availability was for Tuesday April 8th. On Friday April 4th I took the vehicle back to first motors bc I was contacted by the store manager to bring the car in and that there warranty inspector would be in Saturday the following day. First motors called me Saturday afternoon and said that my car wound be ready and I can pick it up. Upon picking it up I asked for the inspection services report and they told me that they would get it to me in a couple days. After I left the same night I get a text from first motors stating that I needed to get a full diagnostic done at **** but I already had the appointment made at **** Tuesday April 8th. On April 7th I get in my car to go to work and the car would not start I tried a few times and it started up like I mentioned above and now the check engine light was on again,

I immediately called the **** dealership and asked if I can bring the car a day early I was informed by **** that I can bring it in and they will call me in a few days with the diagnostic report. On my way to the **** dealership the car started knocking I got to the dealership just in time because when the service people tried to start it, it wouldnt start at all and they had to push it out of the service drop off.
Couple days later I get a call from **** that I needed a new engine and that the engine coast ****** and that the warranty was only willing to pay *****. I also talked to the warranty adjuster
And he said that they never sent an inspector to first motors on Saturday April 5th thats when I found out they have been really not being truthful to me.

I called First motors and spoke to the same store manager and she told me she would have to contact her boss and see what they can do for me after I called a few time and she repeatedly put me on hold so I went to the dealership I explained everything that was going on and she (the store manager) told me that it was my problem and I test drove the car and that she could not help me. I only had the car for two weeks She was very argumentative and after trying to plead to them about all of this they told me I needed to leave or they were calling the police on me so I left. I had the car towed back to first motors from the **** dealership and told them that if they are not going to help me then I will like my refund.

    Down payment 2,500
    Meineke  inspection cost $220
    **** dealership diagnostic cost $225

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to provide our prespective on the situation with Mr ****** and the 2014 Q7 vehicle.

We understand that Mr ****** purchased the vehicle on 03/20/2025, and he did indeed test drive the car and signed a **** contract that included a warranty. However, **** taking the vehicle to an **** dealership for repairs, he decided to return the vehicle , which we accepted as a voluntary reposession.

Mr ****** was offered assistance with repairsat our facility, but he declined . Unfortunately , Mr ******** behaviour towards our employees become threatening, requiring us to involve law inforcement to ensure their safety. As per our agreement , Mr ****** failure to make payments has led to the vehicle being considered repossessed.

W appreciate your attention to this matter. Please feel free to contact us if you require any additional information.

    Sincerely,

    Ismahen

I purchased a 2015 **** Q7 Premium Plus V6-3.0L Gas MFI Supercharged CTWB-4 Valve DOHC vehicle from F1rst Motors located on ***************************************** as of 9/6/2024. The automobile was purchased as is without a warranty under the premise of it being in great working condition with regular maintenance as advertised. There was no indication of defect with the automobile upon a test drive by my son and myself prior to making the purchase. Within a week or so after purchasing the car the check engine light appeared which I had a diagnostic evaluation performed resulting in a timing chain issue that required repair. I went to First Motors to speak with the owner regarding the issue and how could we come resolve this matter amicably but to no avail. The owner stated I should have gotten a warranty, and I knew the condition of the car when at the time of purchase. I replied that I would not have purchased a car having prior knowledge of an engine defect. I have had a total of three diagnostic evaluations performed with the last one being performed on 9/30/2024 by Autohaus ****** which resulted in the engine needing to be replaced due to metal shavings in the oil filter and that a replacement engine/labor would be in excess of $13,000. I did not take the care back to First Motors for an evaluation due to my fear of the diagnostic test being performed on their behalf would not be as thorough as required. I would like a full refund of my finances due to the deceptive practice of selling a defective automobile not willing to honor Indiana's Lemon Law to protect the consumer from shady business deals. I have attached documentation with costs regarding the diagnostic evaluations with results for total order and repair that it would cost to repair the vehicle.

    To whom it may concern,

Mr. ******* bought a vehicle from F1rst Motors on 09/03/2024.Prior to that, Mr. ******* sent his son who introduced himself as a used car dealer that knows about these vehicles, and he is here to inspect the car for his dad. The son test drove the car and approved the purchase for his dad.
Mr. ******* put a deposit based on his sons feedback. Mr. ******* stopped before the final sale and test drove the car himself and decided to proceed.
Mr. ******* refused the warranty and decided to proceed with the purchase AS IS.
This is a 2015 **** with 70k on mileage and didnt have any warning lights or any sign of mechanical issues at the time of sale except for some scratches which allowed him some price discount.
After two weeks Mr. ******* came into my office stating that the car has a timing chain. He said that the engine lights came on after he did a TUNE UP at some mechanical shop.
I informed him that these cars require a subject matter expert even on the smallest thing. We also offered to him to bring it to us to check it out and give him feedback, but he refused and didnt show up.

As far as we are concerned, F1rst Motors didnt enter in any wrongdoing in this transaction and the customer was able to check his car with his son as stated as a used car dealer in the **** area and decided to buy it AS IS.
I have all documents related to the sale. We are also still willing to check the car for him to help him understand whats happening vs going to Orielly a part store.
Please let me know if you have any additional information regarding this matter.

On June 22nd 2024 I purchased my dream vehicle a 2015 **********, Range Rover from First Motors on ************. I put down 10k and purchased a 4500 warranty to ensure any that if problems that came up, I could getbit fix. The Salesman ***** told me that this warranty would cover any and all problems. Less than ********************************************************************** the car. J immediately returned the car to First Motors, after a full inspection from First motors, i was told the car was fixed. Over the next 60 days I would take this vehicle back to First Motors 5 times. After two months of problems with the car I decided to take the car to ***, A leader in the industry for repairing European cars, I paid 200 for a full diagnostic only to find out that this car wasn't drivable. According to the mechanic at *** this car wasn't fit to be sold on a car lot. Thr car had major suspension issues, bad brakes, leaking fluid. The total cost of fixing this vehicle was 7 thousand dollars. The warranty that he promised would cover everything, covered nothing. I had a meeting with the owner of First Motors after weeks of trying. They were rude and not willing to help. They offered 2k of 7k needed to fix the vehicle. The owner ******* ******* told me "thats the risk you take when buying a used car". After searching online reviews i realized that First Motors is a company that people complain about a lot.

We acknowledge the sale happened in June purchase of a Range Rover through a bank, including a warranty. Customer now seeking money to cover her car regular maintenance approximately four months later. Our inspection confirmed the need for brake replacement and suspension hose repair. However, the warranty provider deemed this "wear and tear" and "regular maintenance," which is not covered. During our meeting, as a courtesy, we gave them one time offer to halve the costs despite no responsibility. Unfortunately, they declined and indicated potential media and public repercussions if we don't cover the full maintenance cost. We stand by our findings and warranty terms. We reiterate: regular maintenance (brakes, suspension hose) after 4 months is not warrantied. Our courtesy one time offer to split costs was declined. We understand her daughter's influence as a media personality, but we cannot yield to threats of public repercussions or harassment. We treat customers fairly and expect reciprocal respect.

We sold a car to a customer through our Buy-Here-Pay-Here program with a $4,500 down payment. The car was sold "as-is." However, when the customer experienced transmission issues a couple of weeks later, we helped her by inspecting the car and covering towing costs. We even repaired the transmission for her.
Despite our efforts, the customer stopped making payments after picking up the repaired car. Unfortunately, this breach of contract led to repossession. We offered her the opportunity to become current on her payments and retrieve the car, but she declined.
Throughout this process, we made every effort to support the customer, but ultimately, we had to protect our business interests due to her failure to make payments.
