I have never purchase from an online auction before as this was my first time. We bid on some items and they closed while we were on vacation. When we returned we had a phone call from a women stating we needed to pick up items while we were gone and it was not at the location of the auction. This was a neighbor and I thought the items would be picked up there as we never saw a moving truck there to move items out of the house. I googled the number and it given a number in kokomo in town, there were 2 numbers and i thought one was a personal address, as the company was known in town.. .. I left a voicemail stating we were out of town (with the number in kokomo) and we work until after 6pm each night and they close at 4pm. I needed to know if they still had the items and if they were open on the weekends for pickup. I never received communication back form them. Shortly after , we had covid and were quarantined for 10 days and was really ill. I assumed that my credit card was not charged and that they moved onto the next person, since i did not hear back. Today, a month later, i received my credit card statement and seen there was a charge. I googled the company and received a number that came up on Wexmoor drive (the one i thought was a personal address orginially. The gentleman answered, i told him the above and he stated the other part of the business was closed and he didn't get any message and he always returns calls....and got very argumentative with me and stated they moved on with it since i did not pick up. I told him what happened, he was still arguing with me and told me that he wasn't giving me my money back or product. This is not GOOD BUSINESS CONDUCT, the owner was RUDE, and they are STEALING from the consumer for services not rendered. Plus, as a business, they should have made another attempt to reach out verses charging and moving on to make more profit! As well as if they closed the other business then check the other number listed!
