I would never again buy from this place and even considered reporting them because the dogs they breed were outside in disgusting pens the two days we were there. Left in misting and sprinkling rain. They were unkempt and ungroomed. I felt so bad for them. Like the previous review we were very clear we wanted a mini sheepadoodle. I knew immediately he was a standard and even the vet laughed when we told her he was a mini. Of course my husband fell in love and would not return him. I cried for months and was very upset. He is now 4 years old and 67lbs. The DNA test showed sheepdog, standard poodle, and only 9% mini poodle! What a scam!

I had been keeping my eye on two locations that had puppies. At first Feather and Fleece did not have anything available…. Then one day they had someone ‘return’ a Sheepadoodle puppy. I contacted them and was very specific in what I wanted. I asked for a mini breed. Told them I had an elderly mother who lived with me. And that my yard was not fenced in, so I didn’t want a big dog. A Sheepadoodle puppy became available and they said it was a mini. We emailed back and forth and I asked again about the size of the puppy stating that my house cannot accommodate a big dog. It says on the website that mini sheepadoodles get up to 30 pounds. I decided to go ahead and get the puppy. I fell in love with him. From the very beginning he was very anxious and on edge. I thought that was sweet that he wanted to be beside me all the time until I get up and then he attacks/ bites me. And it wasn’t a playful bite. I then contacted a trainer. In the year and half I’ve had him he’s bitten me at least once a month. Some bites were pretty bad. He’s bitten my grown son at least 7 times, my bother and the trainer. For no other reasons than walking past him, getting up from a chair, coming down stairs….Got to where we were walking on eggshells around him. Going in to a year of training….. this 60 plus pound dog was not getting any better. Yes, I said over 60 pounds. That is not mini dog. I emailed and said that my dog was over 60 pounds and I got blown off that ‘oh he’s on the bigger end’ of minis. I was very specific in what I could handle and what I wanted and they assured me that he wouldn’t be over 30 pounds…. 35 tops. I typically don’t leave reviews of any kind…. Good or bad. But, my experience with this dog has left me heartbroken. He can be the sweetest until he’s not. Through my Vet and Trainers consult I had to do the unimaginable and have him put down. To say the least I am heartbroken and feel that I was lied to from the very beginning.

Fabulous breeders! I am so surprised at some of the negative reviews. My puppy, Blossom is 6 months old and is freakishly smart! Sweet sweet sweet! Potty trained in about 2 weeks as well as doggie door trained! Katie and Jennifer were WONDERFUL and placed a puppy with me that was the exact temperament I had hoped for! Please don't allow these negative reviews sway you from Feathers & Fleece! Their farm and gardens were spectacular and the puppy "houses" were amazing! Best dog EVER!!!!!!!! Thank you Katie and Jennifer!

I received the most wonderful puppy I could have hoped for from Feathers and Fleece. Maka was born November 2018. I placed my deposit, got confirmation, and a puppy packet was sent to me. I visited the farm to view the operation and dogs. It was on the weekend so all the dogs were in pins or inside air conditoned buildings. The grounds were immaculate. I noticed the grounds were surrounded by fencing. Vistitors were not permited during the week allowing for dogs to roam the grounds. I returned to the farm after my litter was born to visit with the puppies. I was permitted to stay as long as I wished to stay. I was able to handle the puppies which was wonderful. After the visit I submitted my choices #1, 2 and 3 of puppy I would like to have as mine. It's been over three years since I got my Maka so I can't remember exactly all time frames but nothing stands out as a problem. The one thing I do remember is I waited 1 1/2 to 2 years to get Maka. The wait was worth every minute. Maka is healthy, great with kids, loves to have people make over her, is good with cats, welcomed my Mother's dog into our home after her passing, was easy to train and has the run of the house without problems when I am gone. My only disppointment is she does not like riding in the car. I have been thinking of getting a second puppy from F & F. I highly recommend F &F Farms!

We purched a female standard sheepadoodle from feathers and fleece in the summer of 21. By 13 weeks of age she had started showing signs of agression. She is super fearful of everything around her. Now she is 1 year old. We have invested time and training and countless dollars into her and her agression is only worsening. We love her dearly but have hit a dead end. She is aggressive towards my children and has tried to bite several people unprovoked. When I contacted feathers and fleece they said my children must be too aggressive with her. Which is absolutely not true. I should look into another trainier or find her a "country home". No willingness to help me or acknowledge any blame. I cannot in good moral rehome an agressvie dog. I also cannot put my children at risk. I am absolutely heartbroken. Owning a sheepadoodle was a dream come true. Now its a living nightmare. My children are afraid to walk past her. Im so lost as to what to do and they were absolutely no help at all. They just recommended I rehome an agressive dog.
