    *************************** - owner of Outdoor Specialist, ******, ******* was contacted to replace a pool liner at my home, *******************************************************************. On March 18, 2022, ***** came to my home to provide an estimate for the liner replacement. A $100.00 check dated 03/18/2022 was written to Outdoor Specialists and provided to ***** as a deposit for the liner replacement scheduled by ***** for Thursday, May 19, 2022. The check was deposited to ************ in ******, ******* on 03/25/22. On Tuesday, May 17, 2022, I had made contact with ***** to ensure everything was on schedule, and find out what I needed to do anything to prepare for Outdoor Specialist's arrival. ***** informed that with the heavy rain and freezing temperatures in the month of April, his company was behind, and he would not be coming on Thursday. At that point, I notified ***** that I would not be using his company and to provide a refund of the $100 deposit.***** had made no attempt to contact me regarding a reschedule, and it was only when I had contacted him for instructions that I found out he would not be coming. The weather for *******, ******* on Thursday, May 19, 2022 was clear and without rain as forecasted. Outdoor Specialist website states: "We believe in quality work, quality equipment, and hard deadlines."As of Thursday, 05/26/22, I have not received the refund.

    For all reasonable purposes , **************** statements are true concerning the weather delay. Although we try our best to stay on schedule, this is a seasonal profession and weather is always a factor. Customer's scheduled for liner replacements are  told not to drain their pool until I confirm their appointment the day before. The scheduled dates are always "tentative-weather permitting". Usually this is discussed with the customer while scheduling the appointment. Especially in the Midwest where it can snow and be 70 in the same day. 

    I personally contact each customer the night prior to service. ************ contacted me 2 days before his scheduled appointment while I was driving to another job site. I was unable to view my calendar to give him any specific details. Unfortunately ************ was unhappy and said he would no longer need my services. ************ was issued a refund in the amount of $100.00 (Check number **** mailed May 27, 2022) See attached. The check has not cleared my banking institution as of today, June 6 2022

    I do take great pride in my work and the quality of each installation. I wish ************ the best and would welcome the opportunity to provide service to him in the future.
