    Room was in bad condition when we arrived at approx 9pm. I enclosed pictures. I was with my 82 yr old mother to 2 children. I sent my 10 yr old out to let the man who checked us in about the door specifically. She said he told her he would contact maintenance. We slept and left in the morning. We were gone for a swimming event until late again. When we entered the room it had not been fixed yet. We slept and then left in the morning. Once we were home I got a notification of many charges coming out of my account. I enclosed a screen shot of this. I have been unable to speak to anyone. I called corporate and was told I had to speak to the local hotel manager and needed to go thru my booking site **********. when I call the hotel I am told the manager is not on-site and he can only be reached by email. So I emailed on 3/9 and have not gotten a response. ********** is helping me ref# ********. They were told by a staff member there that I am being charged because of damage done to the door. Again that damage was there before we ever got into the room fully and it was reported to the person who checked us in.

    I made a reservation through Expedia for a 2night room, I drove from ******************** and made it to the room, the clerk took my credit card information to pay for the room. But, when I went to my room it was filthy, stains on the bed and a lot of dust everywhere, I went back to the desk and told her I did not want to stay at that Hotel at all. She told me I would receive my money back with in two days. I have not received that money to date. I am a return on a fixed income and they do not want to return my money. I got in touch with ******* and told them the issue. But because I paid at the desk they say they can't do anything. Plus they called the hotel and they told them that I completed the reservation. That is Not true. I went to Best Western in *********** ******* and got a room for me and my Mother in law. I have a receipt for that. I should have gotten a receipt from the desk clerk at the Baymont inn, but I didn't think because we were tired and just wanted to get settled in. I also didn't think they would just scam me. Can u please help me. Thank you in advance

    I stayed here for a month while my apartment was being renovated. This was the CHEAPEST option & the ONLY ONE within my budget, so Me, my daughter, and 3 cats, were here from. We couldn't get clean towels, the initial sheets had blood on them, only one bed had a comforter, there was an unpleasant smell, and MOST OF ALL, there ARE BED BUGS!!! Check behind your beds guys, there is probably white powder piled up and bugs dead in it. I tried to receive a refund and the lady at the front desk, Pakistani I believe, was incredibly rude, yelled at me, and hung up in my face. TAKE VIDEO GUYS! THERE ARE LAWS AGAINST HOTELS HAVING BED BUGS AND NOT REMOVING THEM PROPERLY!!! They are rude, disrespectful, dirty, and LOUD. I heard the Pakistani lady yelling like she was at her home, removing someone from their room in the middle of the day. I've had my clothes taken from the washer and money taken from the dryer and not refunded to me. The breakfast is old bagels, dried **************** and watered down orange kool-aid. The pool is cloudy, dirty, & the housekeepers are just as rude as the Pakistani lady at the front. She is TERRIBLE!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! ******* IS BETTER THAN THIS TRASH PLACE. Period! You have been warned!

    On September 1st 2023 we filled out a form with the front desk at Baymont in ******** to block 25 rooms for our wedding. We were in touch with the hotel for awhile and they started avoiding our calls and *** repeatedly ignored our questions about why the block wasnt showing up for our guests when they called to reserve rooms. when we were being told by our guests they were being charged a lot more than we had been told the rooms would be and no rooms were blocked. We had already reserved several rooms for our immediate family and when I called and said the last name she claimed no rooms could be found. We still need the rooms and now we don't know what to do as that weekend is ********************* with the state fair. They pretended to be unable to hear me and hung up when I said I needed actual answers on what is going on up there. What do I need to do to get this fixed?

    I made a room reservation at the Baymont Inn - ************ on 2/26/24, and cancelled the reservation on 3/2/2024, which was well within the time frame to cancel a reservation without incurring any charge.As you can see per the uploaded documents, I cancelled the reservation in plenty of time and received a confirmation of the cancelled reservation. However Baymont did not remove the charge. I stayed at a different hotel over that time period which is confirmed by the reservation confirmation I received from the Comfort Inn Hobart/************, and the charge to the same credit card ending in 4143. Baymont has not responded to my attempts to get the room charge credited back to my credit card. According to reviews on TripAdvisor, this hotel/motel has a horrible reputation with many serious complaints/reviews about the business. This business is a real black eye for the Merrillville business community.I appreciate your help in this manner. Please respond via email.

    This business charged my card and wouldn't refund me after multiple attempts via phone and email conversation. This is a hotel that is not up to health code standards. We checked out immediately when the foul oder, food in hallways and stained sheets was all it took for us to walk away. Since then I have made multiple attempts for a refund from them, to only have them ignore me.

    We were booked to stay from July *****st. Our room 304 was horrible no bedding other than a sheet, floors were sticky and stained, water damage on the ceiling, seeds and stuff growing in our air conditioner, son is allergic to any kind of mold so he could barely breath within entering our room. Pool was freezing and the water was cloudy. Found what looked like bedbugs. I would like a full refund, I spoke to the guy at the front desk and he said the manager would issue a refund. They wont answer the phone or emails.

    On July 11, 2024 at 3pm I check into the Baymont ********************************************************* for a family stay. when we arrive I went to the room to check it out and I was into the filthiest hotel ever seen. The room was suppose to have two queen size beds instead it was two twin beds. The tub and toilet had f**** on the side of it. The beds had old food on the side of it. The floor had white powdery sticky spots of stuff over it. The latch to the door was broken. Strong smell of musk lingered in the room and halls. There was a broken chair stuff under a desk. After inspecting the room I went downstairs to the front desk to ask for a room change but was informed no other rooms available. After that I asked for a refund and was told I had to email ************************************* to get a refund. I asked to speak to the manager on duty ********** but was told nobody has contact to get in touch with the manager but he will be at work the next morning. I went back to the hotel Friday July 12th to speak to the manager and again I got the run around and nobody would help me so I called the police. The police informed me they couldnt force the staff to contact the manager so I was given advice to report the hotel and situation to the BBB. At the time I was dealing with the police there was 5 other individuals coming down for refunds due to the same issues that I was having with the room. This business need to be investigated but I spent $193.26 on a weekend stay just to be disappointed and met with a disgusting filthy room and rude hotel staff that refuse to give refunds for unsatisfactory rooms. Due to that situation I had no other choice but to go to the hotel across which led to me spending even more money to accommodate my family for a clean safe stay.

    I checked into my room at Baymont inn. ************ in there was mold on the window ***** and in the windows. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and walls above the shower. The lamps and beds were nasty and tore us. The ac didnt work but unit got warm when turned on cold

    I made reservation at this hotel for my husband on October 12, 2023. Prior to check in, he needed $100 deposit for the room. The front desk attendant was very rude to him. I called and she was very rude to me. My husband ended up getting the room. Was not the greatest. The hotel is run down and dirty. It has been 3 weeks now and the $100 deposit has not been refunded to his account. I tried calling today, twice, and both times the front desk attendant was very rude (a man this time). I tried to explain the situation to him and he kept talking over me saying I was yelling and a very loud individual. Then he hung up. So I called back. No manager on duty. He was trying to tell me I committed fraud and a bunch of other nonsense. This hotel needs to be shut down.
