We purchased a 2018 **** F150 on October 28 2024..Paid $22,000 cash..the vehicle had 2 cracks on the front windshield. as part of the purchase agreement, the dealer was supposed to replace the windshield within 2 weeks. As of today, January 28, 2025..they have not replaced the windshield. We have repeatedly called to have that replaced, and we have repeatedly been told in the next day or so, or that the guy has to come from out of town...and after repeatedly asking for this to be done...the dealer has NEVER RETURNED OUR CALLS. WE HAVE ASK THEM IF WE COULD HAVE IT REPLACED BY SAFELITE AND HAVE THEM PAY THE BILL, BUT THEY INSIST THEY HAVE A GUY WHO WILL DO IT...WE ARE TIRED OF BEING PUT OFF BY THIS DEALERSHIP. THE WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT IS IN WRITING OB OUR SALES CONTRACT. THEY HAVE NOT FULFILLED THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO **. THE WINDSHIELD HAS CRACKED FURTHER AND HAS BECOME A REAL SAFETY ISSUE. WE ARE ASKING FOR A QUICK SOLUTION TO THIS.

The Windshield has been replaced as of Jan. 29, 2025. We had tried calling ***** numerious times , (Dec, 6th, and 16th) (Please see attached) to get the Windshield scheduled and he never answered nor called back. I then received a call back after the New Year asking me about the windshield. He then informed me I needed to contact his wife ****** not him. I then told him I would call when the weather was not so rainy, snowy, and below 0. ****** then called me (********) January 21st yelling and swearing. I informed her it was below zero and there was nothing I could do. The weather was supposed to be great the following week and I would schedule her then. I had her Windshield Installed January 29, 2025. I have always kept my word.

I originally paid $4,000 down on a $10,000 car I was pregnant at the time of purchase and in desperate need of a working vehicle as I work with my vehicle two months after getting the vehicle it started having transmission issues but mechanics found other issues which they claimed was the issue four times now but is still having same issue I've also spent over $10,000 in repair I called and they said bring the vehicle in we can trade it in but when going to trade in the vehicle they are asking for another three thousand to $4,000 to trade in the vehicle that cannot be serviced correctly by the people that their warranty has stated it should be covered by. In less than a year of owning the vehicle the transmission exploded I have desperately tried to fix this but as a single parent I have used my whole life savings to cover the vehicle and no one can help me they stated that the loan company said I would have to pay almost $4,000 out of pocket to trade in the vehicle I called the loan company and they said that this is not true they only handle the loan itself at this point I'm so distraught I have to take my son 3 hours to and from his specialist appointments into his surgery risking that the car might break down yet again and no one can help me I've maxed out every credit card fixing the car and at one point they told me it's normal for you to have to fix some things on a car but your transmission exploding is not normal I'm at my breaking point I'm a single mother with no help and they won't rectify the situation

    Good Afternoon,

My name is ********, I am the office Manager here at Michigan City Auto.

I spoke with ******* a couple months ago about here vehicle. She had stated her vehicle was giving her problems. I had informed her she had a warranty and even looked it up for her. (I have included the attachment). I told her there was nothing I could do. She had purchased the vehicle 10/15/2021, (BOS is attached).

I never heard back from her until yesterday, 1/31/2023.

******* came in and spoke with ***** (my finance manager). Trying to help her trade in her current vehicle that she has a loan on, with Westlake. Her credit score is at a 543. I have attached the decision documents from the finance companies.  We were trying our best to get her approved and help her.

I am rejecting this response because: I actually did call quite a few times and came in as well a few times I did call within the first 2 months to explain to them that there was a transmission issue in which I also spoke to the warranty company in which they told me and the warranty company found so many ways to work around each issue with the vehicle and it got to the point where the mechanics weren't able to fix the issue and the transmission exploded while driving with my children in the car I explained to them that I put over the amount that I paid for the car and work into the car I don't have **** to **** I literally only have $1,000 to my name after all the work I've put into this car and they still cannot fix the issue the same issue that has been there since I received the vehicle which is the transmission issue. I gave them $4,000. Then to ask me to trust them to put another two to $3,000 down which is extremely hard when you have five kids and you live Bill to Bill and a single parent and you expect the dealership to give you a roadworthy car and to be honest with you even my mechanic said that the bottom of the car including the way the transfer case was put on was from the junkyard and not even put on their correctly the car should not have been sold in the condition it was in and that came from my mechanic

    Good Afternoon,

My name is ********. I am the Office Manager/Title Clerk at Michigan City Auto. I am not sure if any of the statement is factual! I have been dealing with Ms. ***** since July 6, 2022. I have not been aware of any previous problems with Ms. *****'s 2014 GMC Terrain. She called and spoke with me on Wednesday July 6th. Stated she was having issues with her Terrain. Then she spoke with ***** (briefly). ***** informed me she was going to use her Warranty and send it to *************** for repairs, (a mechanic we know who deals with Warranties). So he asked me to get the contact information for her. I then spoke with her and gave her their phone number. She asked me what she should tell them. I advise her to "let them know we had recommended her, tell them about her warranty and see when they were able to get her in". She was satisfied and Thanked me. I spoke with her a few minutes later and she asked for her *************** to send to ***************! ** Please see attached document. I then got a call from ****** at ************** and "she asked to send me a fax to have ******** sign and send back to her". ** Please see attached document. I called and spoke with ******** for the Third time that day. She asked that I fax her the paper and she would fax it to absolute motors. I then text her **************s Fax number as she asked. **Please attached text message.

Next Thing I know I am getting this email. I AM SO CONFUSED!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any further questions and or concerns!
