We purchased a new construction home and Premier Flooring supplied all of the flooring for our house. Move in date was March 9, 2023. Our initial contact was **** ******, their warranty specialist on March 30, 2023. A man representing their company came to access our problem. Our first floor has Shaw engineered hardwood and carpet. The hardwood floor squeeks like you are walking over bubble wrap or crushing crackers. Carpet pad in walk-in closet has knots in the pad Basement floor is LVP flooring. The concrete was not leveled and there are large air pockets. Their rep that came to our house acknowledged we had problems, that they needed to order more flooring and would make corrections. ON 4/27, 2023 Keri texted she had to get manager approval to order flooring and gave me a two week turn around to get on schedule to do repairs. I have left repeated messages with no response.

This issue was turned into a vendor claim which in turn slowed down response time.  This issue has been resolved

I built a home in 2017 builder used cheap flooring and had a problem with it before we even moved in. Builder replaced flooring with another company. Instead of pulling up first floor they put the new floor overtop floor we were having a problem with. I have been in contact with premier with last conversation on 12/8/22 with *** ******. They have been out here, taken pictures and filed a claim with warranty company. They tell you they will get back with you and then you ***'t hear from them until 2 months later. On 11/28/22 I decided I was getting no where and had to spend over $13.000 out of my pocket to get new flooring. Then on 12/8/22 *** ******, president, of Premier Flooring called me to let me know they were still working on this. Told him I had purchased new flooring and was getting ready to get it installed. Why would you put a new floor over an existing one you're already having problems with? Floor should have been pulled up to fix the problem. They just didn't want to spend the time taking old floor up. The flooring people were suppose to be the experts and instead cut corners costing me thousands of dollars. My husband and I had to take out a loan to get project completed. Money I didn't have. The flooring they installed looked so bad I wouldn't even invite friends or family to my house. It was embarrassing.

Premier Flooring did not install the original flooring install, we were in fact hired buy the builder of the house to lay the new material over the current floor.  Once informed of the current issues we requested a 3rd party claim inspection with the manufacture.  Premier Flooring has no control on the timeliness that this is conducted.   As the customer has decided to move forward without informing Premier Flooring or allow the manufacture to conduct its due process we have to consider this matter closed.

We purchased a home from ******** *****, told we had a two year warranty on carpet. Premier says the warranty was from date they put the carpet in for Infinity. This is bait and switch. One person told us one thing, the other something else.

      Business response

The carpet was installed 4/30/2019 ,   Premier Flooring  has as a customer accommodation stretched the carpet twice.   Premier Flooring offers its customers a 2 year warranty starting at the time of installation.  ******** ***** would have been our customer at the time of install.  Premier Flooring has no visibility in to what is said or not said between ******** ***** and the home owner.
