PLS SEE Full Summary attached for cracked joist/additional details. Our realtor sent email on oversights during our home inspection requesting dialogue and paymt due to the oversights, MC2 is saying they are not responsible. Have utilized company FOUR TIMES, the fact that a dialogue did not take place on this matter is unfortunate, feels customer loyalty does not matter. 1 week after moving in Sept, musty smell in the **** room and saw possible mold growth. ****** said I could send him pics to review, sent pics around Sep 18, never received a call back. ***** later attributed to existing damage from water leaking into the crawlspace that was an oversight during inspection, totally visible Our realtor emailed Feb 2024 to remedy oversight. Expenses paid were not upgrades per MC2, were necessary repairs for remediating gross dirty toilet water leaking into our bsmnt crwlspace at time of inspection was overlooked, visible damage not noted. Water had been leaking onto drain pipes then into the crawl/barrier/insulation. Photo attached bsmt crwlspce shows water/staining evidence on the vapor barrier sent from MC2. Took time for quotes for plumbing and c/s needs. MOST importantly, toilet to have seal replaced in MC2's report has zero to do with the fact ****** overlooked damage to the crawl/water leaking PREVIOUSLY existed before and at time of inspection. If he thought water penetration "may" be possible on the main floor toilet laminate, not sure why visible pipes and totally accessible crwlspace werent inspected further, only have 2 photos of the crwlspce. Plumbers/Crawlspace went into bsmt crawlspace w/ little effort, ****** did not enter crawlspace. We just want MC2 to recognize it should have been caught, make right w/ repeat customer. Crwlspace/joist is 100% oversight, request invoice for $2100 be paid by MC2. Also vry visible exposed elect. outlet not noted in dining room, highlights that unfortunately not a good inspection, definite oversights.
