I bought a vehicle that that said was a good running vehicle. Have had nothing, but problems since day one. It started out at a repair shop on day two. Then 5 star imports that I bought it from had it for 2 1/2 months. I received it back by they tried to bypass the emission area on vehicle. Now the vehicle does not run at all. I am requesting the money back that I have paid bank plus they pay the bank the remaining owed. Then the business takes the vehicle back. I do not want any vehicle from them. The loaner vehicle they gave me overheated too. Ive since talked to another and have seen other reviews that people are having mechanical issues from them too. I have a timeline of dealing with the company, pictures and texts from them. Please feel free to contact me if you need anything more.

      hi,

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to address the recent concerns regarding Ms. ********** vehicle purchase and our efforts to support her.

Ms. ******** purchased a vehicle and opted not to include an essential warranty at the time of sale. As a token of goodwill, we provided her with a complimentary powertrain warranty at no additional cost, which is documented in the bill of sale. When she reported some issues with the truck, we agreed to cover the costs for her mechanics services, as well as to provide her with funds for a rental vehicle, even though we were not obligated to do so given that these concerns did not fall under the powertrain warranty and that was confirmed by her mechanic that she trusted .

After a month, Ms. ******** reached out again to express ongoing issues, and as a result, we extended an invitation for her to bring the vehicle to our dealership and provided her with a loaner car. We also took the car to the ***** dealership for inspection, which we covered financially, and proceeded with ordering necessary parts. Additional repairs were completed by a third party, with us covering those expenses as well.

When she reported that the loaner car had issues, we arranged for it to be towed back at our expense and returned the vehicle to her in good working condition. A few weeks later, we received a call indicating she was experiencing issues in ********, which raised concerns since it appears she had driven the car there, and her claim was related to a speed issue ( doesn't exceed 20 miles per hour, means Th vehicle was repaired and she drove it all Th way to th state of Michigan  .

In line with our commitment to customer service, our technician reached out to her to arrange a visit to her residence for further inspection. Unfortunately, she indicated she would return his call, but we have not heard back since.

Additionally, Ms. ******** mentioned in her correspondence that she did not sign the documents, which seems to stem from some misunderstandings. We have provided the necessary documentation and are eager to assist her further.

We sent today 3/13/2025 to her house  3rd party certified diesel mechanic to check the vehicle and they recommended to tow it his shop , which we are  happy to help her ,as  you know that is our moto to help any customer  .Let me know if you have any questions .

      Best regards,
      Umit

We bought a 2016 suburban from them. When we were getting ready to leave the dealership we noticed an error message appear on the dashboard of the vehicle. The dealership was already closed and they were in a hurry to leave so we texted them and told them. They text us back to not worry about it they would take care of it. We live 2 hours away so they told us they would send us the part or a check to purchase the part and my husband would fix it. To have it fixed by someone we were quoted 1600 dollars up to 2000 dollars. I looked up the part and it was 500 to 800 dollars plus she said my husband's time was worth something. After I sent the screen shots of the cost of the part she responded they weren't going to fix it and would not answer me after that. Also they were supposed to send us our license plates. When the temporary plates got close to expiring we contacted them. They sent us an email we needed to go to the *** and get our own plates which was an additional 160 dollars.

Subject: Clarification on Vehicle Purchase Agreement

      Hi *******,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out regarding the recent situation with Mr. **** ********* vehicle purchase. At the time of the sale, we committed to providing a headset and a part, as Mr. ******* mentioned he would handle the installation himself. It seems there may be some confusion surrounding the fees he is now requesting.

We did offer to perform the installation at our shop at no additional cost, and we also issued him a check (number *****) for $300 to cover the cost of the parts. However, it appears that this check has not yet been cashed, as we had initially agreed.

Additionally, Id like to clarify that, in *******, we do not provide license plates and did not charge him for one. To facilitate his ability to register the vehicle and secure the title for the finance company, we made an exception and covered the $106 cost for the title transfer without passing this charge on to him (see attachment).

We genuinely want Mr. ******* to be satisfied with his purchase, but we hope to address this matter in a reasonable and mutually agreeable manner.

Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to resolving this situation.

      Best regards,
      mo

I purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban from 5 Star Indy Auto LLC. DBA 5 Star Imports on 3/21/2024 for $29,753 and was severly deceived. Upon arrival we noticed that the odometer reading was ***** miles over what was stated on the contract paperwork and bill of sale. We also asked through text message and by phone if their were any noticeable dents, dings, or damage. "No Imperfections" is the statement that was made to us on video from our sales person ********. The entire rear bumper cover needs replaced due to the clips on it being broke, as well as significant damage that is spidering and was very obvious immediately upon inspection of the vehicle. The driver side door arm rest is also hanging and the clips need replaced. On both sides of the vehicle there are paint chips that are to the metal on both rear doors as well. The front bumper also has scuffs. Based on the original video of the 2018 Chevrolet Suburban posted on their website as well as videos from their employee no damage was shown. We asked multiple times if their was any damage big or small since we are out of state and could not physically view it. We were also told that the vehicle was cleaned and detailed before it was sent to us. Upon arrival the carpet around and under the mats were completely disgusting and covered in dirt, crumbs and even a piece of food. Their were dust, crumbs and dirt in every cup holder, every door cubby, the front console, etc. Also the surfaces were not wiped down/off well at all. We literally took a wipe and ran it across the center console in the front and it immediately turned from white to black. We are extremely displeased with the Suburban we received compared to what was portrayed by 5 Star Imports. One of the main issues being the misinformation on the contractual documents regarding the odometer reading. We would feel differently if we hadn't asked multiple times about visible damage. I have time stamped pictures and videos to verify all of the information stated.

5 Star Imports did send a $4000 check that will cover SOME of the damage that they lied about. We did come to an agreement that $4000 was fair. However, the fact that they wrote to you stating they filed a claim with the transportation company and they gave us the money even though it wasnt there fault was another lie told by the company. **** their financial manager flat out admitted the damage was there when they received the vehicle from auction and the sales person ******** just lied to us about it. He even stated there were pictures showing the damage when they received it and transportation had nothing to do with it. So for them to send a statement claiming they were paying us even though it wasnt their fault just again reiterates how deceptive they are. **** was extremely helpful, honest and understanding through the whole process of trying to make things right. 5 star imports company as a whole should follow his example. We do appreciate everything he did to try to make us happy in the long run. My overall experience with this company was still a very negative one because honesty goes a long way for me and they just dont know how to be honest. I truly hope they have not filed a claim with the transportation company because that would be fraud.
