My first question to WCM: " I had a question about the accident that was noted. What happened? Any damage?"Sales person said, "No accidents ma'am! She's in perfect like new condition"We went through the process of negotiating the price of the vehicle, the trade and shipping. We decided on the price, and ** said to hold the vehicle he would need a $1000 deposit. He assured me that if the inspection found anything wrong with the vehicle that he would refund the deposit. Basically no risk for giving him a deposit. I asked him again before I gave him my credit card number, "And just to double check. There is no damage to the vehicle. It hasn't been flooded. It has no mechanical issues. The seats are leather." He responded, "No accidents." He sent over the information which noted mileage of *****. I gave him a verbal ok to run the deposit. in June of 2024. He sent me a receipt and a non-refundable deposit agreement. I DID NOT SIGN THE AGREEMENT, nor was it filled out with any information. I didn't think anything of the document he sent because it wasn't what we agreed upon, I did not sign the document nor was it filled out with any info. The inspection report showed that the mileage was different from what was advertised and that the vehicle needed an alignment which is not typical for low mileage vehicle. It is an indication that it hit something. They later tell me that it has been in a wreck. There is a police report that was filed for it.I asked the salesperson about the mileage. He said it was because he was going to ship it to me, not drive it to me.A picture showed it was at ***** miles not ***** miles as advertised. They planned to deliver me a vehicle with ***** and with damage. They misrepresented the accident, the mileage and the shipping method. I asked for my deposit back and they refused, even though the sales person said from the beginning that if anything was wrong with the vehicle, he would refund it.Business Response

We use a trusted source of Carfax for the customer to view the history of a vehicle. This service is provided at no charge to all of our customers and has proven to be very accurate in detail of service history, accidents, title branding, number of owners and odometer. As you can see from the report included there are no issues reported to date 9/24/2024 with any of the items checked. We have notified Carfax of the information provided by ****** from Autocheck and there response was sometimes items are not reported or missed by either party. We are not saying there wasn't prior repair to the vehicle as we looked into the matter deeper however all items were repaired properly and back to original specifications by the original owner. The inspection was done by an independent third party and had no issues and an alignment was a recommendation and we accepted this procedure to ensure customer satisfaction. We also purchased *********** floor liners for all of the floor surfaces (front, second row, third row and cargo area) as well as a hitch insert per the customer request as part of the agreement. We posted the vehicle on Central Dispatch, which is a nationwide service to ship vehicles as we were also paying for the shipping of the Expedition and her trade (Honda Pilot) to come back. As time expired and the shipping was not assigned we offered to drive the vehicle to ****** to meet her timeline of delivery. As for the mileage of the vehicle we received the vehicle on April 17, 2024 with 6743 miles. This information was placed in our DMS (dealer management system) and sent out to our website for display along with detailed pictures of the entire vehicle. During the time of arrival and July 6, 2024, the intended date ****** purchased the vehicle, there were incidental miles driven on the vehicle from test drives and the owner driving the vehicle. This total of 609 miles was explained and negotiated by ****** for the total price agreed upon. From the initial contact from ****** of 6/24/2024 to the contract date of 7/06/2024 we have purchased mats, hitch insert, inspection and alignment as part of the agreement. There are no issues with the vehicle. We explained to her the deposit is non-refundable and still stand by this especially since we purchased items requested by ******.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This message is in regard to your complaint submitted on 9/23/2024 against World Class Motors, LLC. Your complaint was assigned ID ********. We received the business's response to your concerns and you can find the contents of the message below or attached.
There was no agreement that the deposit would be non refundable. I did not sign any documents stating that. They sent a document in my text message, but half of it was covered. ** and I had a verbal agreement that it would be refundable. This is why I did not sign any documents. As for the items they "purchased", I do not believe they bought them. The picture they sent me of the trailer hitch was visibly used and *****. I do not think they bought the floor mats either. Regardless, I was lied to about the accident. ** assured me 2 different times that the original Carfax was wrong, that this car had not been in an accident. He also assured me that the deposit was refundable. After finding out about the accident and the discrepancy in the mileage, I did not feel comfortable buying this vehicle unseen. If he would not have lied to me, I would not have given them a deposit. Therefore, my deposit should be given back.

We use ****** not AutoCheck and how would we know this was showing when Carfax said no accidents reported. How do we know the information is true listed in AutoCheck as well. We have purchased all items listed new as described. Nothing was misrepresented especially when a noted third party such as Carfax says it has no accidents. Our decision is the same as the last response.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The original listing for the car said accident. ** said he was going to look into it with CarGurus, but said they must have listed it incorrectly. Apparently he did not look into it like he said he was going to. If ** would have looked into it like he said he was, then he would have confirmed the accident that CarGurus listed. At that point, I would have been given the correct information and you would have not "purchased" the floor mats. This is not an issue of you did not know. You did know. The accident was on *******. Your salesperson said the information was wrong.Your salesperson could have said I'm not sure why these things are conflicting, but he didn't. He said CarGuru was WRONG. He assured me 2 different times that there was no accident, BEFORE I paid the deposit. It wasn't until after the inspection and I paid a deposit that he actually looked to see about the accident.
I have attached the picture ** sent me of my "new" trailer hitch. The ball is scratched and rusted. It was not new, nor purchased for the transaction.
Take accountability for your salesperson. He said he would give me the deposit back if there was an issue. He also said 2 times that there was no accident. Both of these things were lies. My deposit should be refunded. I signed no paperwork saying it was nonrefundable.

May 29, 2024 I put $1000 down for a deposit on a 2006 Mustang GT 500.I was told that if financing was not available, I would receive my full deposit.Due to the age of the car, I was not able to get financing on the car, nor could the dealership provide financing. They are not refunding the $1000.Business Response

On May 6th 2024 ******************* stated he was looking for a Mustang GT500 to purchase and let us know what his parameters were on the car. We found a vehicle shortly after around mid May and secured the purchase of the vehicle with a $1000 deposit. The Mustang was purchased through Manheim Georgia Auto Auction on May 14th 2024 and was transported to *******. We then secured financing for ******************** (see attached approval sheet) which required additional cash down in which ******************* declined and stated he would try to secure financing himself. After he did not secure his own financing we are faced with this situation. We purchased a vehicle to his specifications and have an approval with additional cash down. We have offered to move the $1000 to different vehicle and that has not been an option. I spoke to him this past weekend and stated I would get back with him today with a total of cash down he would need for the Mustang GT 500 and was shocked to see this response the the BBB. Unfortunately the GT500 has a value which is much higher than the book value the banks use to secure a loan. Other options could be a home equity loan or simply pay the additional cash required. I have offered to utilize the $1000 as a down payment should ******************* want to look at this purchase at a later time or other vehicles.

The business couldnt get loan approval. I was told if financing wasnt possible under their terms, that they would refund my $1000 deposit. I would still like to buy the vehicle, with $5000 down, which is not acceptable to them.Business Response

We will need to submit a new credit application to the bank to see if an approval can be obtained based on the terms requested by *******************. The banks or credit unions we use determine the terms and conditions of the loan and we facilitate the paperwork for them. We will reach out to ******************* to obtain this information as too much time has elapsed to use the previous application. Once we receive the decisions for the banks those terms are good for 30 days. Based on the previous approvals we were able to obtain financing, however ******************* declined the terms provided by the banks based on their guidelines of credit and so forth.
Thank you

2019 *** X7 V8. Paid the car in cash via money order on June 3. It is July 24 and I still don't have the title. I have only 30 days to register the vehicle before sales tax fines increase. Repeated callbacks with no resolution. The car was delivered with a $600 control arm service completed by the dealer shop. The left control arm on the car was loose and the car is now at my mechanic. Waiting on a callback for a resolution.Business Response

***************** purchased a 2019 *** X7 from us on JULY 3rd not June 3 as indicated. Please see the dated and signed purchase order, ********** Cashiers check dated JULY 3rd and the title affidavit dated JULY 3rd with an August 3rd title due date as described by the State of Indiana. I have Informed ***************** that he will receive his title by this date. I First informed him at time of delivery when he signed the document, before he left on JULY 3rd, Wednesday July 17th, Monday July 22 I informed him our title clerk is on vacation, Wednesday I informed him she was still on vacation and it would be Monday when she returns, Thursday I informed him it would be Monday again and received a call from his father and I indicated to him that his name was not on the paperwork and would not be able to discuss it however I informed him that I spoke to his son 15 minutes prior and he should speak with him. He indicated he had spoken to his son prior to calling but wanted to hear it from me. It has been 23 days or 17 business days since ***************** has purchased his vehicle and my answer is still the same as the title affidavit he signed and as I have explained numerous times. His title will be ready August 3rd for an out of state purchase especially to the state of Illinois as they are always behind on titling. I will find a reputable repair shop to look at his *** to determine if the concern is something we did as part of the control arm repair. He has indicated to me it is at a shop and when I asked for the name of the shop, Phone number and technician who inspected it ***************** refused to give me that information until the title issue is resolved. He later informed me by text a name and phone number to which does not appear to be a business by phone search. I asked for the name of the shop and he said ***** will give it to me. I informed him that i would need the name of the repair facility. He later gave me a name of Star Auto in which I can not find in ********. ***************** sent a text at 11pm Thursday evening stating "the complaint can be resolved when we have the title". I will oblige his wishes and attempt to resolve the complaint after he receives the title on August 3rd. You are correct as you indicated that you can't please everyone but I assure every attempt was made.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]Under the highlighted date it says the title is due at the time of sale. **** has ceased communications with me. I need to register the car within 1 month or the registration tax will face a penalty. This is not a DMV issue, I have strong suspicion to believe WCM does not hold the title. I was informed over the phone by ** on July 22 that the title clerk was to return in the afternoon, and later in the day by **** that the title clerk was to return July 24. Then, on July 24 **** told me the title clerk is returning on Monday.
**** is refusing to text me and start a paper trail. He has not responded to my mechanic about fixing the control arm. The car is currently undriveable, in the possession of my mechanic, and **** refuses to contact my mechanic. True bad faith business practices. **** even clearly texted that he cannot process my title until I resolve the BBB complaint, which can be alleged as financial extortion. I need my title at least 3 business days before August 3 to allow ample time to register my vehicle, along with a resolution for the control arm cost of $108 dollars OR a refund of the service charge I paid to have the vehicle serviced with WCM at the time of closing.

I'm not sure why we are back here again as we have stated ***************** will get his title August 3rd but i would like to express calling ***** times per day or sending strange texts asking if we have ever been to jail have anything to do with getting his title any faster. It will be ready August 3rd 2024. I have attached these texts and would appreciate Mr ******** refraining from calling me after midnight or on Sunday. There is no reason for this other than being spiteful which we don't want to go down that path. Not sure why this needs to be every day when there will be no update and he will receive his title on August 3rd.

**** threatened my own business today, attached in the recordings. He cut my calls 4 to 5 times after a week without contacting me. He said the title still has not been processed and if it is not dropped in the mail today and received tomorrow, I will be late on my IL sales tax bill for purchasing the vehicle.
The vehicle is still not fixed with the control arm and I still do not have any proof that the alignment was performed as per my agreement with the dealership. **** is refusing to transport the car to his facility and has made no good faith attempt to source a facility here to fix the workmanship from his dealership's shop that improperly installed the control arm on the vehicle.
At this point, given the fact that **** verbally threatened me, my business, and my family, I feel very unsafe contacting the shop any further, and am requesting that a member of the BBB give me a call so we can further discuss an amicable resolution over the phone.

Title received but it was not in the right name. I clearly requested it to be in my business name and it was issued in my personal name.
I will have to go back to DMV and pay transfer fees to change into my business name as my insurance for my vehicles is under my business. As a result, the vehicle is not insured and I cannot drive the vehicle since the title is not in my business name.
**** refused to cover any out of pocket expenses related to the loose control arm (and alignment thereafter), as well as any expenses related to the title being purposely sent on a weekend knowing that my ************************************************* the state of ********, even though the title clerk graciously offered to cover those expenses. He further slandered my character, threatened my business, and repeatedly said "Karma is a B****" to me over the phone in front of my service advisor at the *** dealership. **** is not willing to resolve this issue and stand by their company's name and promises, which is unfortunate. This issue remains unresolved by the business.

Bought a 2008 lexus ls600hl hybrid from them told me no warning lights on. Showed up from Indian to *******. Check engine and tpms lights on. Codes showed hybrid battery needs replacement and the entire exhaust minus the mufflers need replacement due to a valve that isnt working and can only be purchased complete. Found out later the car had the exhaust inspected at the dealer prior to me purchasing so they knew about it. They charged me $2500 to ship the car and they paid $1,100 and they told me it is what it is basically, we are here to make money. Was told by the general manager ***** he would help to fix the issues but never did. Then said I don't have that much profit margin on this car to help. So I said don't worry about the exhaust I just wanna worry about the hybrid battery. Then I found d a used 1 for $2500 installed and he said I still can't help you. Finally said we can give you a concession for $1,000. I was ****** I said maybe I should contact a lawyer and he said I can't talk to you anymore. Days go by and I figured that's all I was gunna get so I told him I would take it and he said the deal is off the table. Look at all their 1 star reviews on ****** and yelp etc. They are all about this type of business practice. I have date stamped pictures, texts, emails to back thisBusiness Response

I have many many many other photos/screen shots I can send but will only let me do 5. This is a very hard to find car with the back seat that's in it. They told me that like 6 to 8 people looked at the car before me and didnt purchase it because they couldn't get financed. I dought that they probably didn't buy it because the check engine and hy rid battery lights came on while they were driving it. Then they found me that wanted from out of state. They cleared the codes and shipped it. As soon as we unloaded off the truck about 430am at my house the check engine light was on. Went to work brought home my scan tool and it says replace hybrid battery pack and a switching valve is the exhaust is stuck which is only repairable by replacing the exhaust which is over $7000 and the hybrid battery is about $6800 plus $1300 core charge and install and tax. Look on carfax and the exhaust was checked at the dealership before putting up for sale. Then they try to tell me that this all could have/must have/had to have happened while on a delivery truck from Indian to **********..... do you think I'm stupid I said. Almost all of their bad reviews are about sketchy business practices and hiding or lying about things like this.Customer Answer

We were not aware of any conditions relating to the check engine light or hybrid battery prior to shipping the vehicle as ***** states. I have attached the Carfax and it does not show World Class Motors doing any repair or exhaust work. What it does show is ******************* Illinois has serviced the vehicle since it was new with a detailed maintenance and service history including a maintenance inspection completed, vehicle washed/detailed and exhaust system checked on October 4th, 2022 with ******* miles. ***** purchased the vehicle a year and 17 days later on October 21st, 2023 with ******* miles a difference of 4137 miles. ***** purchased the vehicle as-is and declined a service contract offered to him. We offered assistance and he also declined the assistance. I am not sure about the additional mileage the car had as ***** stated and trying to contact the shipping company to see if the car was driven in their possession or an oversight error in paperwork from when we received it.

Everyone knows an exhaust valve and a hybrid battery can't and won't go bad sitting on a trailer. Exhaust was checked shortly before they got the vehicle which would mean they knew about the problem... They could easily clear the codes and show the car because the check engine light doesn't come back on until it gets warm or started the next morning. These guys are frauds.Customer Answer

I bought a 2012 ******* MKT vehicle from the company WORLD CLASS MOTORS. They said that the car is mechanically fit since we did a virtual video tour. When the car was shipped to me, the chair in the third row seat was disconnected, the lid, for the cooler was broken, they didn't tell me that the door arm rest is torn. They also said they inspected all cars before sale but this car when arrived to my address, I found out that it's not true because multiple exhaust and vacuum hoses were disconnected in the engine bay. The car bean to blow white smoke. I called the company about the issue and they said get a quote to see what the cost is to fix it. The cost was over $2400 and they said they that I am responsible to fix it and not them. I went a fixed it then the next week the car had an exploded turbo. They said it would cost over $3000 to fix it and i don't think it's fair for me to be close to $6000 on a car that they sold for close to $9000 dollar that I bought only for a month and they won't even respond to my request but just to deny that they didn't about these issues before they sold it to me. This car company should not be allowed to sell vehicles if they this unprofessional. If they did this to me, who to tell who else they did like this. This Company must be audited.Business Response

***************************** purchased a 2012 ******* MKT with ****** miles on it on 12/9/2023 on an as-is basis. The paperwork was sent to him to sign prior to delivery and he was offered an extended warranty in which he declined. Before the vehicle was delivered to him, pictures and a video of it running and a walk around of the vehicle to show condition was performed. When we delivered the vehicle to him it was in running order and the concern he is stating was not occurring at that time. He owned the vehicle for roughly 30 days and called us to state the vehicle was smoking. He took the vehicle to ************ on January 3, 2024 and authorized the repairs of regular maintenance and a valve cover gasket and PCV valve. On 19 July I purchased a Land Rover from World Class Motors and traded my Land Rover Discovery which had a balance of 41k they were to payoff within 30 days. As of today, 12 sept 2023 the loan still has not been paid off and it is reflected on my credit report as missed payments. I called on two occasions. The first call ***** told me they ran behind on sending out payments and they would be sent out. Then on the 6th of September I was told they overnighted payments. This is not acceptable business practice. I demand they pay off the vehicle immediately and my credit be restored. I am a federal employee with a security clearance I cannot tolerate late payments on my credit report.Business Response

We have a policy that vehicle payoffs will be done 30 days after we receive the vehicle. We sent out one check to the bank and that check never reached the bank. The postal service lost the check. We had to wait 10 days to see if the check had been received. We issued another check to send out to the bank. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused the customer.

BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.
When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.
BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this business, please let the business know that you contacted BBB for a BBB Business Profile.
As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
