On February 28th, 2023 my husband and I purchased a 2023 Honda CRV from wetzel Honda. We have been struggling with them every since. They did not pay off my trade-in vehicle within the allotted time, causing us to make an additional payment. They have still not provided ** with the paperwork to go to the **** Despite numerous calls and contacts, they continue to fail to give ** the paperwork that we need. We have provided them with the power of attorney, signed another power of attorney because they said it was not done correctly, and waited. However it has been nearly 2.5 months and we are still without the paperwork that we need to go and obtain our license plates for the car.Initial Complaint

ON 03/18/2023 I PURCHASED A 2021 DODGE RAM ***** FROM WETZEL FAMILY AUTO HONDA AT **** NATIONAL RD. ******** ******* *****. DURING THIS TRANSACTION THE DEALERSHIP PROMISED ME TWO ***S TO THE ****** THE 1ST *** WAS BROKEN. THESE TRANSACTIONS WERE WITNESSED BY MY SPOUSE AND SON. THEY ASKED ** TO BRING THE ***** BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP ON 03/19/2023 BECAUSE THE ***** HAD TO BE AT THE DEALERSHIP IN ORDER FOR THE NEW *** TO BE MADE. WHEN WE ARRIVED THEY TOLD ** THE *** MAKER WAS ON VACATION WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE. THEY THEN PROMISED TO SEND THE NEW *** THROUGH *** DELIVERY TO OUR HOME WHICH IS QUITE SUSPICIOUS CONSIDERING THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY TOLD ** THE ***** HAD TO BE ON THEIR PREMISES WITH THE *** MAKER TO BE COMPLETED FOR OUR ****** THEY TOLD ** 1ST THAT THE ***MAKER WAS ON SPRINGBREAK. SUDDENLY THE *** CAN BE MADE WITHOUT THIS PERSON EVEN IN THE ****** THE *** DELIVERY CAME TO ** MONDAY 03/22/2023 AND SUPRISE NO *** IN IT. THE PACKAGE WAS EMPTY. WE REPORTED THIS TO *** AND WE DID HAVE THE PACKAGE WEIGHED. IT'S SHIPPING DRY WEIGHT WAS DWT 11.7.1 AND NOT SUPRISINGLY THE DRY WEIGHT AT ****************** *** FOR THE EMPTY PACKAGE IS DWT 11.7.1. THIS DEALERSHIP DID NOT SEND THE *** TO ** AT ALL. THEY OUTRIGHT LIED TO ** TO CLOSE THE **** OF THIS ****** THE GENERAL MANAGER IS THE FATHER OF THE ****MAN. WHAT AN AWFUL EXAMPLE TO TEACH YOUR GROWN CHILD. DISHONESTY AND LYING TACTICS. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF TREATING A CUSTOMER SO POORLY. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO TELL THE ****** I WILL MAKE SURE THAT ANY BUYER INTERESTED IN DEALING WITH YOUR DEALERSHIP STEERS CLEAR. SHAME ON YOU. THEY ARE MOST LIKELY SMUG BUT IN RETROSPECT I HOPE THEY REALIZE THAT I HAD ACTUALLY CONSIDERED BUYING A SECOND VEHICLE FROM THEM BEFORE THEY SHOWED THEIR TRUE COLORS. THE AGREEMENT PAPERWORK FURTHER SUPPORTS MY CLAIM AS IT STATES THEY WERE GIVING US 2 ***S AND THEY NEVER DID. YOU CAN SEE ON AGREEMENT THAT THEY STATE WE WERE IN POSSESSION OF BOTH ***S WHICH IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. THEY ALSO DID NOT SIGN OR CHECK THE APPROPRIATE BOXES IN HOPES OF GETTING AWAY WITH THEIR BAD BEHAVIOUR. THIS IS SO OBVIOUS IT REEKS. THE REASON I KNOW THIS IS A LIE ABOUT SENDING ME A *** THROUGH THE MAIL WITHOUT HAVING MY NEW ***** IS ON THE DODGE WEBSITE IT CLEARLY STATES A LOCKSMITH IS NEEDED TO MAKE THE NEW *** AT THE DEALERSHIP AS LONG AS YOUR VEHICLE IS TOWED OR HE HAS THE VEHICLE ON SITE. I BELIEVE THIS DEALERSHIP SHOULD SEND THE LOCKSMITH TO MY HOME WHERE MY VEHICLE IS SITTING AND HAVE THE NEW *** MADE FOR ME TO MAKE UP FOR THEIR SHADY AND UNRELIABLE BEHAVIOUR AND THAT THIS GENERAL MANAGER **** ME A FORMAL APOLOGY.Initial Complaint

Have been getting car serviced at Wetzel Honda since we bought the vehicle. They have said they have been rotating the tires. Got a s**** in a tire and took it to a tire shop to get repaired. Asked them to check all the tires as the vehicle had not been handling like it had before. They stated that all the tire were wore on one side. That the appeared to not have been rotated. My wife said that's funny Wetzel has been rotating them. The other shop stated to my wife that they have had other customers with the same issue with Wetzel Honda.Initial Complaint

On 7/25/2022 I purchased a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT from Wetzel Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Prior to purchase I pointed out several items I expected to be fixed as an imperative part of our agreement and was assured these items would be taken care of.The agreed upon items to be fixed were as follows:1.Hood to be repainted.2.The 2 middle ********* Seats were not functioning properly and would be fixed.3.A second key would be found or replaced.I purchased the vehicle and a few days later received a call from Wetzel advising that the cables were in for my seats.I took the van back in to them, left it overnight and received a call the next day advising it was complete.I went in to pick it up and before I left, I checked out the seats and one was fixed and the other one was not.I pointed this out to the service department, and they referred me to ********************* the Sales Manager. He came out and looked at the seat and talked to the service representative for a minute and told me he would get it fixed. In the meantime, I was to drive the loaner vehicle they had given me.About a week later I received a call from **** saying they needed to get the loaner van back because they had someone interested in purchasing it. I asked about my van, and he said it was going to cost them $1,300.00 to fix it and they already had too much money invested in it, and they just couldnt do any more. I attempted to work with them by telling them I would not require them to fix the other seat if they would give me a service voucher for $650.00 which was 50% of what they said fixing the seat would cost.They were adamant that had spent all they could on this vehicle even though they had agreed to fix this seat prior to my purchase.They added that they needed the loaner van returned that day.I returned the van as they requested and when I got there, ***************** the Finance Manager saw me and told me they were trying to find a used part to fix my other seat. They also gave me the second kBusiness response

On October 27, 2021, I rented a vehicle from Wetzel Collision and Rental Center at *********************************************************************************** November 5, 2021, at 4:04 PM I called them to make arrangements to bring it back that day.I was told that since they closed at 5:00 PM I would not be able to bring it back at that time and furthermore they would be closed on Saturday and Sunday also so I would need to bring it back on the following Monday November 8, 2021.I told them that I was leaving town on vacation Sunday November 7, 2021 and would have to leave the rental setting in my driveway until I returned on Thursday November 11, 2021 if I could not return it immediately.They said they were sorry but there was nothing they could about this.We went on vacation leaving the rental in our driveway. When we returned, I called to let them know I was bringing the rental back on November 11, 2021, and would be there around 4:00 PM.When I got there to return the rental the Rental Center Director (***********************) was not there. I spoke to another employee and asked if she was coming back soon and was told **** was out to lunch.I asked if someone else could take care of my rental return and was told that **** did the rentals, and I would need to wait until she returned.I told the other employee about the situation, and she asked why I had not returned the vehicle and left the keys in the key drop box.I told her **** did not say anything about a key drop box. When **** finally returned around 4:45 PM I asked her about the drop box, and she said there was no drop box for their rentals.The other employee was standing there, and she just walked off without saying anything.I paid for 7 days rental on this vehicle while it was setting in my driveway not being used because Wetzel Collision and Rental Center would not let me bring it back the day I wanted to and did not offer me to return it using the key drop box. At $42.99 plus tax per day I believe they should refund $335.00Business response

The rental manager should have offered other options for return of the rental vehicle. We will issue a check to the customer reimbursing him for the extra, unneeded days for the total of $335.00. We will reach out to the customer about the reimbursement.Customer response
