Good evening, Back in January, I purchased a used Infiniti Q60 from *********************. Unfortunately, ever since I bought it, I have had some trouble with the customer service at your dealership. Not even a week after purchasing the car, we noticed an air bubble on the front left tire, so we called to see if we could get it replaced. Although we were persistent in trying to get it fixed, nothing came of it, and your sales team had us going in circles for three weeks, but never offered to fix it. I feel as though it is extremely negligent that we were sold a car in that condition since the bubble should have been noticed during inspection and repaired immediately. ***** informed us that they conducted an oil change and tire rotation which could explain how the tire with the air bubble (likely from a collision) was rotated from the back left, to the front left.Additionally, we were told that no major issues were ever reported on the car. We found that it had been in an accident and, according to ******, suffered severe damage to the left rear, which could explain the air bubble. After discovering this information, we called the dealership that it was serviced at, in ******, and they confirmed that the car was there and sent to a body shop due to the damage. Both ***** and ***************************** assured us that there had been no prior accidents and that the car was in perfect, mint condition. I recall sitting in ***** office and him boasting about buying it from an older gentleman who kept it in wonderful shape. It is not only unprofessional, but also inappropriate for them to be fabricating the history of the vehicle while omitting the prior damage report. Mind you, we live about two hours away from Napleton, and were only willing to make the trip because we thought this car was worth it. I bought it for $45,000 which is an unjust price for a car that has been in an accident. Essentially, your team unlawfully sold us a car and lied about its history. I am seeking full refund.

We sold ************** a 2020 Q60 on January 13, 24 and our company uses Auto Check and when we ran the auto check it did not show any accidents on the report so that is what we go by, we do not use Car fax so we go by what we use.   We sold the vehicle in great working condition except for the tire, I apologized to ************** about the tire and told him we would replace it or refund him the amount of the tire if already replaced. I would need a receipt an I can have a check for it within 48 hours.  I also attached a copy of the Auto Check report.

I am rejecting this response because:Respectfully, the dealership Napleton Autowerks is stating that they did not know that the vehicle had an accident at the time of sale. However, there is no disclosure signed by the dealership and I that they didn't know that the vehicle had an accident at the time of sale. As a matter of fact when I sat in the office to sign all the paperwork **** (finance manager) & ***** (sale person) went over and over the fact that the vehicle had no accidents and was owned by an older person and kept in perfect mint condition. Upon further investigation we came to find out that everything that the sales team told us about the vehicle was a lie. After speaking with Alta Infiniti they claimed they were the dealership that had the vehicle out for lease. The vehicle suffered an accident with the customer and was then returned to ****. **** stated the vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive and was sent to ******************************* Infiniti stated that they found the vehicle to be a liability and sent the vehicle to auction. The vehicle sat in auction and then was sent over to the Michigan auction where Napleton Autowerks bought the vehicle. All dealerships that dealt with the vehicle were well aware other issues were going on with the vehicle. Per my attorney an additional complaint has been filed to the attorney generals office as well as Mercedes Corporate Case#********. We are seeking a full refund of the vehicle and wish to no longer do business with this facility.

      Good morning,

We provided all of the information we had that was provided by the company we use and the information was that it was accident free, there are many vehicles that have been in accidents that do no show up on Car Fax or Auto Check especially if the accident occurred in ****** or another country. We did everything we could to provide you with the best information available.

      Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:

No sir, you took advantage of the fact that I was a minor buying a vehicle. You are lying and continue to lie. Your team did not provide the correct and full information on the vehicle. You guys went as far as to wish me luck into thinking I wasnt going to pursue this. And threatened me over the phone. You keep stating all you use is autocheck yet your window sticker attached in the initial complaint shows and advertises CarFax while calling into your dealership your recording all states the same information. There was no way you had no idea the vehicle went through an accident and even if it did you telling me it didn't and reassuring me it didn't is lying to a customer. You went ahead and had your team sit in and consistently tell  me that the vehicle had no accidents and that it was in perfect mint condition. If your team hadnt said that to me, I would have nothing to argue. But when asked you guys insisted that it did not and then lied about the history of the vehicle. The history you guys told me doesnt match what ********* even says. You have trained technicians Im assuming? When a vehicle is checked in as a used car at a dealership it is to go through a safety inspection with a repair order open on the vehicle. This safety inspection should include overall all findings of the vehicle as well as a VIS showing all of what the vehicle went through. A certified trained technician inspecting the vehicle would know that the vehicle had parts replaced and a breakdown of everything that was done to the vehicle and all testing performed. Please Attach those documents for my review.

None of the information that we had available at the time of the vehicle sale indicated that there were any issues with this vehicle.  We offered to replace the damaged tire for you, but you have refused.  When you took possession of the vehicle, it was fully function and safe to operate.  We are willing to reimburse you for the cost of the tire if you provide a receipt and proof of payment.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 05/14/2024

I am rejecting this response because:
While you claim that you had accurate information about this vehicle, the fact of the matter is that AutoCheck provided you with the incorrect information. Because you promote CarFax on your window stickers, should that not be the better alternative to provide your customers with the best, most precise information? As I stated in the previous response, if your team did, in fact, use CarFax, the damage would have appeared on the vehicles report making it known to your salespeople and me the damage that it endured. Had I been given this information; I would not have bought the car due to its condition. Although it is street safe, it has gone down tremendously in value resulting in a drastic discrepancy in worth i.e., it is now priced at about $20,000, significantly less than what I agreed to. Furthermore, your team is not trying to compensate for the fact that you haphazardly sold me a damaged car, all the while I continuously pay an unjust price in car payments. It is extremely unlawful and immoral for a business to operate like this as there has been no effort to reconcile your mistake. As you stated, none of the information that we had available at the time indicated that there were any issues, but that is because you were provided faulty information by AutoCheck, even though the car sticker clearly states your reliance on CarFax. Additionally, the repair of the tire does not even come close to being enough to recompense for this issue. To reiterate, since you are obviously not understanding, the car was sold unlawfully while the company falsely advertises their use of CarFax, and if I had seen the damage report, I would not have bought the car. If you cannot reimburse me in full nor send me the amount it has depreciated, I will have no other choice than to speak to your owners and serve them a lawsuit.

I leased a vehicle July 2023 that I brought in to have repaired on 2/16/24 and the dealership has not communicated with me on when the issue will be resolved. My car is still at the dealership sitting. I leased a New 2023 glc 300 4 ***** coupe that now needs a fuel tank according to the dealership. The car has less than ****** miles , is less than 6 months old , and this has been occurring since the third month after leasing the vehicle. I pay over ***** a month for a car note on a car I dont have or cannot drive these past few weeks . I dont have another vehicle and need my car for work. I would just like to have my car fixed and returned asap . This is not a timely manner and it appears nobody at the dealership sees this as an urgency . To keep the car over two weeks and not communicate efficiently with me is disheartening for me as a new consumer of Mercedes . This is my first Mercedes and probably my last Mercedes . I never expected all of this to occur on a vehicle such as a brand new Mercedes. I put gas in my car and right after it tells me I have none its at zero . The car stopped on me on the expressway the week before I brought it in . I had to walk up the expressway and get a gas can and get gas because the gas gauge is not reading properly on my new car. This was embarrassing *** never ran out of gas in my life. To diligently put gas in my car and it does this is sad. I cannot and should not have to keep up with my mileage in my head and constantly fill up because the gas gauge is broken. To have put gas in the car and it still reads zero after fueling up is unbelievable and unacceptable overall. I have reached out to corporate as well . Im a woman and I would hate for another woman, mother , sister or anyones daughter to ever experience this. I honestly feel like I bought a lemon unfortunately. I have a video as well showing me driving going 65 miles and Im on empty according to my gas tank that I just put $40 worth of gas in .

I will continue to do business with ********************* at Napleton  Mercedes Benz in the future and for the duration of my lease.

I leased a vehicle from Napleton Auto Group on 1/9/2023. It is a ******** **** GLC300 SUV and had **** miles on it. It was a demo/dealer vehicle. I was told the price was $49,000.00 but was charged $52,000 the sticker price on a used vehicle. I tried to take it back the next day and was told I couldn't because I signed a lease. However, the deal was not finalized. I was then told I could do a trade in but was not allowed to. I was told the finance manager would call me back at 12 noon and he did not. The total cost of the contract was $57,000.00 with taxes and titles and fees. Unbeknownst to me I was charged $********* over the cost of the value of the vehicle which I later learned was only $40,000.00. The dealership then tried to get me to enter a 72 month contract to buy a vehicle worth $52,000.00 at $77,000.00. I am a senior citizen and was scamed, and frauded out of *********. This business should be shut down, fined heavily, and reward my money back for overpayment.

***************** purchased a New  untitled service loaner vehicle that she was clearly aware of, the **** of the new vehicle was $52445.00 and it was sold to her at $48445 because it was a service loaner with miles. ***** is no right of rescission in the state of Indiana on automobiles. ***** was nothing done here at the dealership in any wrong manner and we do not take vehicles back for any reason. the customer told us that the vehicle was just to big and she wanted something smaller, nothing about pricing.

I am rejecting this response because: tbe dealer failed to state why I was charged$57,000 dollars for a used car.  I tried to exchange the car the next day and was told by *********************** the salesman that I could not.  His rationale was I signed a contract but, the deal had not closed.  More importantly no where on the contract does it say the vehicle lr cannot be returned.  After going g to other Mercedes dealerships I learned that I was overcharged for a car that should have sd at 40,000.  A car does not depreciate by$17,000 dollars in one day.  More importantly a reputable business would not continue to try and scam a senior citizen by and additional $17,000.00 to change to a smaller vehicle.  They tried to get me to go from a ********* tab to  $77,000.00 tab to get out of the contract.  ****************** their first ancestors officer, the salesman ***********************, the ge real manager, and branch manager, ************ are all crooks and scam artists.  Please print this to protect seniors like myself from unethical practices and fraud.  ******************

The MSRP of the vehicle is $52445 and the vehicle was sold for $48445 plus taxes and fees as stated on the customers contract. The balance that the bank says is owed is with all products, taxes, fees and negative equity from the trade.
