      I opened a support ticket on june 5, 2022 and told them what what was going on and why my account was locked. They responded once asking for a reason to why this would happen and ive waited 3 days and sent over 10 messages explaining and showing my side of the situation. Ive worked with this company over 5 years and have worked for big CPA companies and showed them this and i've still got no response to why my account is locked. I have over a hundred refs and have tried to contact the user through their phone number provided and the person on the other line has no clue of instagc or their companies.

      I had accidentally activated the VPN on my browser which triggered my account to be locked with the site InstaGc.com. I contacted support which prompted me to verify my account information, which I did. They requested that I give them my personal ID, but told them I was uncomfortable with that because of the risk of identity theft. I had been a member of the site for over 3 years and had over $300 worth of points in my account, which they are restricting from me. All I want is for InstaGC to unlock my account. I did not use a VPN to circumvent my location for monetary gain. The account was instantly locked when the VPN was activated, by accident. My desired resolution for this complaint is simply rightful access to my account, that's all.

      On Monday 13 December 2021 I tried to sign into my account at www.instagc.com and was met with a notice that it was locked. The notice requested that I contact support. I immediately changed my password and received a link to change my password at the email address on file with instagc. After I changed my password I contacted support. I was informed that there was suspicious activity on my account and I needed to verify all of my personal information. Please know that instagc is a GPT site. Users can complete surveys exchange for points and those points can be redeemed for gift cards. I have never ever completed not one single activity on instagc because there are other GPT sites that are much much better. Therefore if I have never ever completed any activities and never will how can there be suspicious activity on my account? I have verified all of my personal account information three times. I was very suspicious the second time this weird and bizarre request was made but I verified all of my personal information again with great hesitancy. *******, a much much larger outfit than instagc would ever hope to be does not constantly require users to submit very very personal information. I informed support that I find this request extremely suspicious and I do not feel comfortable transmitting my personal information yet again. I informed support that I have changed my password and that should suffice. Support continued to insist that they need my very personal information. I declined this request and after doing research this is a scam that instagc implements to deny payment. A lot of my referrals have left the site because of this scam. My account is close to $100.00. I was going to cash out for Christmas and instagc's scam was once again very effective in denying payment. I want my account unlocked now. And I want instagc referred to the State Attorney General for fraud investigation. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter I am very appreciative.

      On 12/14/2021 they were told:

       

      “You simply need to supply your basic information as described in the first reply. This basic  information is on-file already and waiting for confirmation by the account-holder. Until then -  this account will not be re-opened as a fraud-protection measure for the account-holder.”

       

      They responded with:

       

      “This is the exact same fake reason that was given last time. I did not believe the reason then and I do not believe the reason now. I have verified my account information twice. I will not verify my account information three times. I have changed my password and the link went to the email address on file. That alone should be enough and will be enough!! This is all very suspicious to me and I do have confidence in your abilities. I have $93.00 in my account. If this is some attempt to say that "because of a problem with my IP connection" my money in my account is being taken away I will report you to the Better Business Bureau and the FTC. I will be contacting the owner of this site!! Unlock my account now!!”

       

      Once they respond with their account info, to ensure they are the right account holder, things will proceed further.

      This plan of action is rejected and will continue to be rejected. The account information has been confirmed multiple times. This is the scam they run.The account information has not changed. As stated previously and stated again now when this grift started the password to this account was immediately changed. The link to change the password was sent to the email address on file. If there were indeed fraud on this account the fraud would have to extend to my personal email account. This scam does not hold up under scrutiny. This site time and time again continues to demonstrate their immaturity, silliness,and why the remain on the lowest rung of gpt sites. Currently 25 former users have been found and have confirmed that this exact scam was used to lock their account and cheat them out money that was rightly earned. Only 20 people are needed to file a class action lawsuit. This account will be opened without unnecessarily supplying personal information for a fourth time. Better Business Bureau:

      This bottom rung site is running a scam. There was never an issue with my IP address. This con game is used to lock accounts and not pay out money that was rightly earned. This generic site will be referred to the State Attorney General for Fraud. I do not trust them with my personal information. This account has been verified and I have the emails and screen shots to prove it. This exact same information is on their system. If there were a legitimate issue with my account and there is none a simple password or pin number change would suffice. This is a con game and this will be referred to the FTC for a FRAUD investigation. Better Business Bureau:

      This website offers point incentives to take surveys and complete tasks. I accumulated $50 worth of these and then tried to cash out via direct deposit to bank account in November 2021. I had to provide my checking account information. The deposit never went through twice. Customer service then said there was a problem with the account because my wife is registered. They asked for her name, which I provided. They then had me send a picture of my drivers license. I have heard nothing since then despite repeated attempts to contact them. Every time that I attempt to contact their company, I get an automated message saying that I have been put back down to the bottom of their queue for trying to ask questions. They have my bank account information, my drivers license, and my personal contact information, and I have no access to the money I earned and am not allowed to talk to them. At best this seems like it is geared toward getting consumers to give up on their accounts so that ******* can take the money from them. At worst it seems like a possible organized identity theft scam.

      On 11/21/21 I signed up on a website called InstaGC. The site claimed to be able to earn gifts cards, *** ***, etc. For completion of certain tasks so I started and completed a task and first the completion I was to receive 2600 coins which is $26 USD. Well they claim that the points get frozen for 5 days to confirm completion and to check for fraud which I understand. Well as of today its been 12 days and I cannot get support to respond to emails etc. The only reason I'm filing this complaint is because I spend money out of my pocket to completed this task within the allotted time frame. I have given them the 5 day requirement and emailed them several times asking them to explain why my points are still frozen.
