    I had 2 eye surgeries on 05-31-23 & 05-22-23 Allied Anesthesia billed my insurance *** and insurance approved 0n 06-02-23 and on 06-13-23 not sure when they got the money.One bill they say I owe is $261.00 the other is ******. I have sent them copies of the EOB's.They are threating collections now. Their billing is sporadic, so I really didn't know this was not corrected on their end. Please help.

    Good afternoon, my name is ************************* and I am the new Executive Director of Allied Physicians Surgery Center.  I want to first start with apologizing to **************** for the stress and inconvenience this has caused her.  I have discussed this issue over the telephone with **************** and explained what I have found and apologized regarding the errors that were made with how her account was handled.

    After thorough review of this account and both service dates it was discovered that clerical errors were made to this account through our third-party anesthesia billing vendor.  These errors have been explained to **************** and she has been notified that there is no payment due from her.  I am aware that **************** did try to contact Allied's third-party billing vendor to clear up the situation to no avail and am happy that I was able to rectify things on her behalf.

    I want to again apologize for her inconvenience and time wasted.  I have let **************** know that she can contact Allied Physicians Surgery Center directly with any further questions or concerns instead of reaching out to our third-party billing vendor.

    I have paid this twice because they misapplied the first payment and said it was being refunded, ***** but it has been almost 6 months since then and I have not received a refund. I have called many many times, same old story that it will take 60 to 90 days. Still no refund. This was for anesthesia services on June 27 2023. I have paid for this twice now, I am retired and although ***** isn't much to some it is for me. I had cataract surgery and there was another bill for ***** for the other eye paid and no problem with that one. But although they admitted it was their mistake they said I would be better off paying it again, cause a refund was already in the works, so I did, still no refund. I am sick and tired of calling them, please help.

    I apologize for the lateness of my response.

    I can confirm that our third party ************************** [Ventra] has submitted a refund request for the amount you had overpaid.

    There was a transition in the personnel at Ventra in September and the documents they submitted in were not accurate nor complete for all the accounts.  Unfortunately, this delayed refunds to every patient on the list.

    We will be submitting the Refunds for payment next week

    I am sorry that this has caused a delay in getting your refund.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    I filed a complaint # ******* and got a reply from the business I want a refund from, but as of now I have not received it. I checked my messages with them, and it says it is closed, but on my end it is not. This is over 6 months and I have about had it with this company. Is there anymore that can be done? Thank you.

    It is now almost February and I still  NOT RECEIVED  refund. they play this game like it is all taken care of but it isn't. I am not sure what my next step is. This a very frustrating.

    Please accept my apologies for the lack of communication that you have received.

    My name is ************************* and I am the new Executive Administrator for Allied Physicians Surgery Center, LLC. as the previous person has retired.  I just started two weeks ago and have just received your complaint from the BBB.  As soon as this was received I made it my priority to research the situation.

    I will not make excuses as to why it has taken this long for you to get a refund but it is evident that ********************** is owed $37.84 from overpayment via our third party Anesthesia Billing company.  

    I have put in an urgent refund request to have a check sent to ********************** and as soon as I know that the check has been cut and sent out I will update this response with a date the check has been mailed.  This is an urgent matter to me so know that this will not fall of my radar to have the matter officially closed.

    Just to let you know, I did finally get a check in the mail today for this. I have not cashed it yet, but will try and do so in the next couple days. Thank you for all your help if it goes through we can consider this matter closed.
