I went to Elite Smiles Dental for my annual dental check up and cleaning on 05-09-2023. I was happy with my visit. **************** asked if I would be interested in an implant for a molar I had pulled several years ago. After discussing this option, I decided this would be a good solution for me. I prepaid $1,428.00 toward the surgery. Approximately a week later I received statements from my insurance company with approximate charges for my visit. After further investigation I realized that **************** was out of network for my insurance company. I then called the beginning of June and cancelled my upcoming surgery and was going to try to find a doctor that was in network. I spoke with billing about refunding my pre-payment. They said after my husband's appointment and my stepson's appointment were done they would take any payment due out of my credit and refund me the rest. I agreed. They said they resolve any credits the end of each month. At the latest it should be sent out the end of July/ beginning of August. When I still hadn't received anything in the mail, I called again. They double checked my address and said they had the zip code wrong and would cancel the check they sent out of send another. I asked for an invoice because the amount didn't seem correct. They e-mailed me an invoice showing a refund of $918.50. My husband called and spoke with our insurance company about payments they made. According to my insurance company, for all 3 appointments our balance should be $82 and that Elite Smiles Dental has cashed all but one check for $56.Customer response

My complaint has been resolved with Elite Smiles. After going in and sitting down with billing, they issued me a full refund.
