    *A deer hit my 2022 Chevy Silverado on Saturday May 6, 2023 after 10pm. My truck sustained front end damage and the drivers side headlight was broken. I contacted my insurance carrier ***** **** ******. *On Sunday May 7, 2023 my 2022 Chevy Silverado was towed to Briggs Auto Topeka, KS *Monday May 8, 2023 all Auto Insurance and vehicle information was shared regarding the damage so repairs could begin. Insurance companies, allow 30 day car rental The 30 days ended June 10, 2023. ***** **** ****** Claims Adjuster, Insurance Agent and myself kept in close contact with ****** ***** with Briggs Topeka because I needed my vehicle to get back and forth to work as well as elementary school for our school age children. We all explained how my family could not afford to go past June 10, 2023. *Wednesday May 31, 2023 ****** said the repairs could get done faster in Manhattan than Topeka, The truck was delivered to **** at Briggs Supercenter Manhattan, KS with a completion date June 8, 2023. *At this point my truck sat at Briggs Topeka from Monday May 8, 2023 until Wednesday May 31, 2023 with no action taken.This is 3 and 1/2 weeks (18 business days/24 calendar days) *June 10, 2023 coverage ended for a rental vehicle! When asked Briggs Topeka,Manhattan could not supply a vehicle. *Beginning June 11th until June 28th is 16 days I had to pay out of pocket for a rental vehicle. This is $117.11 a day for a rental car to get you back and forth to work. The total out of pocket I paid for a rental vehicle was $1873.74. ******* with Briggs Topeka let my truck sit, for 3 and 1/2 weeks before deciding not enough staff was available, or they just didnt have the time, delivering it to Briggs in Manhattan.I am asking Briggs Auto to reimburse me a total of $1873.74 for the out of pocket paid for a rental vehicle. A copy of this email is being sent to the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General office. *** ******* insurance claim ******

    In the beginning of April (April 3) I went to trade in my vehicle at Briggs, I was talked into a vehicle with a higher payment than I would have preferred (I know partially my fault), and it is now the end of April (April 25) and my trade in vehicle still hasn’t been paid off, so I still had to make the payment on my previous vehicle. When I called to resolve the issue, they couldn’t help us over the phone so we went in and spoke to them in person. Where they said they’d been meaning to call us about a missed signature on the paperwork for the new car, and that their finance department wouldn’t pay out the trade in until the financials were set up for the new car. We are ready to give their car back and get my vehicle back, and said as much and I hear the manager say “fine. Go somewhere else” behind a wall. they asked what they can do to keep our business, the resolution that we came to was that they’d write me a check for the amount of my vehicle payment and get a new 10 day pay out. They tried to convince us they did not need a new 10 day pay out and that the financed bank would send us a check for the extra funds, but the financed bank said that we needed a new 10 day pay out since there had been a new payment made. I was assured at 12:30pm on April 24th that they would call me with the check ready by the evening of April 24th, or no later than late morning on the 25th. My husband called at 11:30 and they said they’d call to check on the status and call him back, at 12:45 he called to see what’s going on and was told the finance manager wasn’t in today, even though he had just spoken to him an hour ago. I had heard mixed reviews about this company, and still chose to give them a chance and this situation is making me question that decision.
