On August .13, 2023 I purchased two jewelry items at a Legacy Auction Group auction totaling $1,655 plus $165 in buyers premium. One item was a pendant tagged as being 18K gold with an aquamarine and diamonds and the other was a bracelet tagged 18K gold. When the pendant was held up, the auctioneer described it as 18K gold with an aquamarine and almost a carat of diamonds and the bracelet as 18K gold. I bid and won these items in good faith that they were as described. When I took the bracelet to a jeweler for repair, he said he did not think it was 18K gold. On or about August 15, after taking the items to the first jeweler, I contacted the auctioneer and explained that the items did not test to be 18K. He stated that he had tested them and thought they were. I stated that I would take them to two more jewelers and would contact him with their findings. The jewelers (**** *** ***** ******** *** ***** ** ***** *** ******* *** *** ******** **** *** ******** *** ****** **) were all in agreement that the items were not 18K and the stones were not genuine. Since that one conversation, I have made repeated phone calls, left voicemail and a message on the auction website but have had no response. Since the items were misrepresented, I would like to return them for a full refund.
