We moved into these apartments on July 11 for a short 3 month stay while our home was being built. When we moved out, I cleaned that apartment from top to bottom. I was aware they would charge a carpet cleaning fee and new that would be deducted from our refund. Today I got our deposit refund. For 3 months, they charged us $734.

Deposit accounting is not taken lightly. It is our intention to return deposits as much as possible. We expect vacating tenants to leave the home in move-in ready condition for the next tenant. Failure to do so results in additional expenses to make the hoe ready. Ms Billinger did not leave the home in move-in ready condition. There was hair thru out, dirty appliances, drawers, etc. This resulted in a cleaning company being hired and that expense was passed to the tenant. Toilet seats were left in stained condition and had to be replaced. HVAC filter had not been replaced as instructed. They should be replaced every 30 days. While we do understand normal wear and tear, the walls were left in undesirable condition and touch up painting was needed. All of the requirements for return of security deposit are printed in the lease. Additionally, the requirements are also emailed when notice is received from tenant. Upon further review of the pictures, move in and move out inspections, it has been determined that the tenant was billed accurately. No further money will be returned. I have included the 5 maximum pictures allowed.

I am rejecting this response because there are no pictures provided and this is completely false.
