I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent car purchase I made at your dealership on 02-28-2025. The deal I was presented with was far from what was initially promised, and I feel misled by the terms and conditions provided. Specifically, the catalytic converter needs replaced, fuel injector needs to be replaced, the driver's seat busted, the back wiper you turn on water runs under the steering wheel, the steering wheel busted. This has left me frustrated and disappointed with my experience, as I trusted your dealership to provide a fair and transparent transaction. The car is not worth what I am paying for. The car's value is $2500.00 and the loan on the car is $6700. I request that this matter be addressed promptly, either through a revision of the deal or other appropriate compensation. I look forward to your swift response.

I purchased a vehicle advertised at $23,542, yet I was charged $26,041. Despite multiple attempts to address this discrepancy, I have received no satisfactory explanation or resolution. When I purchased the vehicle, I was promised a tax roll-in, which was not honored. My concerns were dismissed as if this agreement was never made. Additionally, I have not been provided with any documentation explaining why I was charged the extra amount. I attempted to resolve this issue by speaking with the dealership in person on July 24th and made several follow-up calls. I called *****, the financial lead, on July 27th and received no response. I then contacted the General Manager on August 2nd, again with no reply. On August 3rd, I spoke with Jeff, who promised a callback after figuring out the issue, which never happened. On August 10th I called and got no answer so I visited the dealership in person. The sales rep met me at the door and verified that he remembered talking about rolling taxes into the loan and got me back to finance to figure out this error. Then once back there they still have “no idea” why I was charged extra for the car. After going around and around they assured me they would call back on August 12th after speaking with the general manager, but this promise was also broken. It has now been 4 weeks since my first point of contact regarding this issue and they have blown it off hoping it will just go away. To add to my frustration, I am now paying taxes on hidden fees I was not informed of. I was never made aware of any extra coverage or the one-year reapply coating, yet these costs appear to have been added to my bill. The lack of transparency, communication, and accountability at McCarthy Chevy-Olathe is appalling. I expected better from a large dealership and am deeply disappointed by this experience. I urge others to exercise caution when dealing with this establishment.

I bought a truck unseen from this dealership. The sales associate guaranteed me that there was nothing wrong with it. When the delivery driver arrived with it (I live 3 hours from the dealership) all 4 tires were very worn, with one being visibly low. I pointed it out to him, but he said “sorry, I’m just the delivery guy.” So I took the truck home, and the next morning when I went to leave for work, the tire was flat. I went to change the tire, but the spare has huge burn marks and knots all over it. I had no choice but to go pay for two new tires. I called the dealership, and have gotten nothing but run around. The sales manager “Kevin” finally gets on the phone with me after 8 days and says he will pay for one tire and “find” me a spare. I asked if that was gonna take 6 months, and his response was “well maybe not that long,” and laughed. This caused the conversation to get heated and he told me to enjoy paying for tires and hung up on me. They guaranteed me everything was in working order, but the tire shop even confirmed the tire had an old plug in it and the spare had melted sidewalls. 800 in tires the day after I bought it, and it still needs two more and a spare and they refuse to honor the contract.

I have recently been having car issues, which resulted in me seeking out this dealership. I have a current warranty on my vehicle, which was originally issued from McCarthy Nissan in Lawrence. After this dealership closed, I consulted the warranty company for direction on which dealership to visit in order to get the work done. They informed me that McCarthy Chevrolet (who now had the warranty after McCarthy Nissan in Lawrence closed) would have to release my vehicle to Nissan of Olathe, so that Nissan of Olathe would be able to work on my vehicle, as McCarthy Chevrolet does not work on Nissans. After multiple phone calls to McCarthy Chevrolet asking for them to release my vehicle, and asking to speak with a manager on multiple occasions (who never return my calls after countless voicemails), I was told that they could not release the vehicle to McCarthy Nissan. Not only will they not help me - but they will not allow another business to help me. I work 40+ hours a week in the construction field and my vehicle is my way to work. Lately, I have had to make other arrangements. It is completely unacceptable that are unwilling to help, and that they are prohibiting me from getting my car repaired elsewhere under a warranty that I have paid for. If they can't fix it, fine - but release MY vehicle so I can get it fixed somewhere else.

I purchased the vehicle on 1/13/2024 at McCarthy Chevrolet in Olathe. I was in a wreck on New Year's Day and my previous vehicle was totaled. When I went to the dealership, the car I was interested in had been sold. I specified exactly what I wanted upfront. Cost, color, type, payment. They showed me another GMC Arcadia, which I was told was black, I gave the ok to run my credit on it, but it was not, it was a deep purple clearly in the light. The salesman proceeded to tell me it looked black. This car was mentioned several times again and I finally had to state I am not buying it so do not mention it to me again. They then had the Audi which I was told they got to my payment. I had no interest in an Audi, I have previously owned one and know how expensive they can be. I found out they decided my wrecked vehicle was going to a shop. It took an extra week, but they came back confirming it would be totaled. I reached back out to the salesman, *****, at ********* I had asked to see if they had any other vehicles since I was already approved. They mentioned a Traverse, which I was not interested in. Then they came back to the Audi. He pushed for me to come look at it. I did go look at it once I had confirmation my previous vehicle was being totaled. My ex-husband drove me there to look at it and it was late afternoon. They were still above my price, slightly, but stated it got a 34-point vehicle inspection and was under what the miles should have been. We had that snowstorm, so the grounds/ roads were bad. My ex-husband drove it, he said he thought there was something not right in the front end and the brakes. I went on a test drive with the salesman and told him it did not seem right, and the breaks did not seem ok. He stated it was just the road due to the weather. I ended up buying the vehicle. I was supposed to receive a copy of the 34-point inspection but never did and they let me know they found a spare key; I had gone back in to pick those up on 1/23. When I got there the salesman was gone after I told him I would be there after work. They found the spare key but stated I could only get the inspection report from my salesman. Due to the freezing temps on that day, my fuel door was froze shut so they had me go back to service. ***** ******** a Service Advisor, helped me. He got the fuel door opened and mentioned he had a left engine mount for my car, which I was not aware of. I mentioned that I thought there was an issue with the brakes, and he said I recommended they replace them, but they said no. At this point, I was very upset. I sent an email to **** ******** who was listed as the Executive Manager on the website. No response. I called *****, the salesman, and he stated a manager would need to speak with me. I did not hear from anyone. I sent ***** a text and *****, a Sales Manager called me. I told him all and he stated it may have been a budget vehicle, I was not aware of that and not told that at all, he said he would need to speak to service and sales and get back to me. No callback. A couple of days later I called him and left him a message, but still no response. I then called and asked for the General Manager. I ended up speaking to *****. He stated if we fix the breaks. I mentioned I thought there was an issue with the front end, braked, and a clicking noise, and it had started jumping at takeoff. He said they would reinspect the vehicle and fix the brakes. I dropped it off on 2/2/2024. Spoke with ****** in service, he was not aware of who ***** was. I explained my concerns and the brakes, I stated they were making noise they needed to replace the brakes, pads, and rotors if needed. I picked it up at the end of the night, and nothing seemed any better, but now it made a new noise that no one could explain, like a plane taking off, I was told at that point I could not get a printout of repairs since it was still open, and I was not paying for the repairs. I spoke to ***** again, letting him know this and that I did not believe the brakes had been replaced, and that I thought there was still an issue in the front end. He agreed for me to bring it back in and gave me a loaner this time, I need a vehicle for work. I dropped it off the second time on 2/8/2024. This time they had it for a few days, they provided a printout when I picked up the vehicle. I had gone out of town but got an independent inspection from ********* on 3/5/2024 and was told about several issues with the car, listed on *********** reports, including timing cover leaking oil.

I purchased a used vehicle through ***** from McCarthy of Chevrolet in Olathe in 2020 and it has quite literally been the worst financial burden I’ve experienced in my life. I was 20 years old at the time and was completely and utterly taken advantage of. I felt pressured as soon as I got to the sales department to sign the documents. I wasn’t verbally explained any of the paper work and felt as though I was too rushed when trying to read the contents of the financial agreements. I didn’t even make it 2 years with the vehicle before the engine seized on 3/17/2022 due to a recall from 2018, later called a “product improvement” where no one was apparently held responsible but me. It is not right that this “product improvement” was 2 years before I purchased the vehicle and I am still paying for it. Why was this not taken care of? Why was this not made clear to me? Why was this car even being sold? Why is it that neither this dealership nor the manufacturer are held responsible? I am now upside down $11,000 and still paying almost $400 monthly for a car that does not run. It has now been over a year without a car, countless **** trips and rides from friends and family and walking ridiculous distances through all of the seasons. I believe that McCarthy has sold me a lemon and they have not taken responsibility or offered any type of assistance what so ever. I am so lost and really in need of some major help. All I want and need is a working vehicle so I can get to school and work. I need them to be held responsible. Thank you for listening to my story.

On June 21 st 2022 i bought a car from mccarthy Chevrolet for the price of 20298.00$. I have been waiting for my title. I called the dealership they said to wait for a while for the paperwork to clear up. I then waited for a day on Aug 18th or 19. I went up to the dealership with a friend ****** *****s. We spoke with there title clerk. She said that there was a lean on the title from the previous owner. I was baffled I have spent time waiting for the title. Of a car I purchased and have not received said title. When I went to pay for my financing, I got a bill way to high for what the car was worth. I put a 10,000 down-payment. On a 20298$ car and received a bill for roughly 19500$. If I am right I belive they have 60 days to provide a title
