    Date of transaction: 5/26/23 - Finished painting/staining neighbor's home Nature of dispute: There is overspray on the side of my new home built 2017 and new black iron fence from 2020 from painting the neighbor's entire home next door. Whether or not the business tried to resolve the problem: I left a voicemail at ************ on 5/30 due to the holiday being, 5/29. Received a call back from ****** ****** from the same number that came out to the home. After looking at the situation the company denied they did not do this, they were not accountable for it. they painted the house a dark color and stained the garage door.

    Hello,

      So ****** did receive the call from the homeowner regarding a complaint. ****** went out on Tuesday, May 30th to discuss the issue with the homeowner. The homeowner that filed this complaint stated that we oversprayed while painting ,and thus left paint splatters on his home. The colors on the side of the home in question is a light brown color./almost stain looking color.  The color we sprayed on the our Customer’s home was a dark color, almost black called “Iron Ore”. ****** explained this to the homeowner when going out to discuss complaint.  The only other color painted on the home was the garage door, noted in picture,  which is a faux painting, but this was done by hand. The fact that garage door color was done by hand and not sprayed, can be verified by the Customer’s home we painted, as he saw with his own eyes that the garage door was done by hand. We also do not wash or clean are brushes on the property when hand painting the garage doors, as this requires lacquer/thinner, which can kill plants/ flowers, so is cleaned off property. I I have attached pictures to show the very dark color of the Customer’s home we painted, as well as the splatter /color in question from the complaint’s home. You will have to enlarge the last picture with the splatters to see the light brown color of the splatters. At the end of the conversation, ****** then stated that if he thought that he or his crew were responsible for this at all, he would take full responsibility ,and paint the side of the home that is in question for free., but he could not see how him or his crew could cause the types of splatter and color on his property. The filer of this complaint then replied to ****** “ okay, I don’t want anything for free“ and walked away . Homeowner then left and walked away. If someone from BBB can go to this property with ****** or on their own to verify this it would be great. Once our work and this can be verified we would like this complaint removed, as we have not had a complaint against our business in the past and would want this to continue .
