Well everything was all right Saturday morning but when I tried to call her about problems she did not she did not contact me. And and today she got back to me and I told her can you tell me what why you said you said that $75 was for there work. But today I noticed they charged me $199.00 for their work and when I called them to ask why it was $199.00 instead of $75 she cut me off the phone and would not call me back. Also they kept asking me to sign the documentations and that they would not charge me before I did sign them and I have not signed him yet but they charged me on Saturday the 22 when today is Monday 24. But about half of what she said on the quote, I talked to her earlier she said she made a mistake. And when I contacted one of the 2 companies they provided me with, The company I called told them about what she said, they said she must be a wrong and be a problem then.

Please see the attachment with our response.

The agency has reviewed the quote/policy transactions that occurred on 1/22/2022. At the time of providing quotes and binding auto & home policies on 1/22/2022, the agent advised that there would be a one-time agency fee applied to the transaction, which typically was $199 for a home policy and $75 for an auto policy. However, due to the customer purchasing both auto & home policies, the agency would waive the $75 portion for the auto policy and only charge the $199 portion normally applied to a home policy.

The agent advised that she was emailing a document to customer for his signature as acceptance and collected payment information to be applied for the auto & home policies and the agency fee.

The agent left a voicemail for the customer later that morning on 1/22/2022 to request a call back due to an issue processing payments. The customer did return the voicemail at 7:30pm and stated that he had an additional question regarding the auto policy, due to 1/22/2022 being a Saturday the agency was closed at the time of the customers return call and the agent was unavailable until Monday 1/24/2022.

On Monday 1/24/2022 at 10:29 am, the agent returned the customers call to discuss the additional questions that the customer had regarding mileage rating on the auto policy. In addition, the agent advised that the payment processing error had been resolved; she had transposed a number in the payment information and had been able to get that worked out. The agent also reminded the customer that she had not received the signed acceptance document, the customer advised that he would complete that on 1/24/2020.

SelectQuote Auto & Home regrets that there was confusion regarding the one-time agency fee and the portion of the fee that would be waived. A member of sales team management will be contacting the customer directly to determine a resolution for the situation.

      Thanks!

On January 18, 2022 I was applying for mortgage protection, and I supplied my social security number with other information. Once I entered all information the site said, "Error has occurred". I hope my personal information doesn't cause me problems later. I would like my information removed.

I reached out to Select Quote back in October 2021 for a quote for a life insurance policy. I spoke to ******* *********. He provided a quote over the phone and I started the process of applying for the insurance policy. I was told I had to have a medical exam at a medical facility of Select Quotes choice (which I did). I drove 30 miles to take the exam. I also signed a HIPPA medical release at the direction of ****** *********. After I signed the medical release and took the exam it all began to seem like a scam. I had Select Quote employees calling me asking basic questions about doctors I had seen, they even named a doctor I have never heard of or seen (a Dr. *****). I told them I had signed the HIPPA and they had the authority to do all the research needed. I request a call from a supervisor because the information they were after was easy to obtain. Long story short, ******* ********* and other have been pretending they have been unable to obtain medical records even after I provided info. Today I called ********* and advised him I was looking at my medical records online with no problem, then I called my health care provider with him on the line. In about 10 minutes I had reached the office of *** medical records. the lady advised NO REQUEST HAD EVER BEEN SENT, while ********* had been pretending he was unable to reach them. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SCAM. For 3 months I have been waiting to get approval on my application for life insurance. This man has used stall tactics and God knows what he has done or is doing with my medical exam information. PLEASE INVESTIGATE @selectquote.com

Selectquote in conjunction with our insurance partners use a third party called PDC to obtain medical records. In the application under "Primary Physician Name" this client did not write the name of a physician, but rather than name of a medical group that contains "*****" in the name. This initially created confusion with PDC, though this was resolved within 2 weeks. They sent multiple faxes to the listed medical group, and followed via phone and email mulitple times, with 20+ medical record contact attempts over a 6 week period. It is unfortunate that PDC was unable to get her records despite repeated attempts, and we wish her the best in her quest to obtain life insurance.Tell us why here...

Select quote, as well as other medicare companies, uses 3rd party, generally overseas call centers to solicit business. These call centers call from false numbers and will not allow me to speak with anyone else, when I ask to be removed from their list I am hung up on, or occasionally cursed at. If I stay on the phone, I am transferred to Select quote. Select quote also hung up on me several times as I asked to be removed from their list. I currently get 40-50 calls a day ( 2 calls while typing this) about medicare, which I'm about 30 years too young for. My number is also on the do not call list, but that has not stopped the calls.

I have had repeated calls from this company regarding my "Medicare status" despite being asked to be removed from their list at least 3 times ( the rest of the calls I did not bother to answer ) including once with a so called supervisor. They start early in the morning and have awaken me multiple times. They would never give me an address until today. They answer as ****** ****** but this company is the one listed at the address I was given

My complaint is about the Select Quote Senior Insurance service. They continually call and say they want to get you the best medicare advantage plan. they got me to change my plan saying it was better than the plan I had. When I got the new plan I wasn't satisfied. They kept calling constantly even after they changed me to a new plan. Finally, when they called I told them I wanted to go to my old plan. their agent after looking at my old plan asked why I changed plans as my new plan wasn't as good as my old plan. As of January first, I go back to my old plan. Today select quote called again and wanted to know why I canceled the first plan they got me. I hope that I am covered now, but I don't know. Someone is making money off this screwing old people for a service that is crooked and most don't need. I actually have a friend that had his phone taken out to stop the continual harassment of being called constantly at all times of day and night.

I get daily calls, over 10 times a day from this joke of a company. Calling from different area codes. Always of Indian accent. I am on the DNC registry and what not. Asking for my personal information to offer me Medicare Part C benefits. Stating they're showing I have Medicare A and B. I'm only 46. One time I asked the Indian dude what company he is representing and actually told me Medicare. FALSE you idiot. The next guy actually gave up Select Quote. I'm tired of hearing my phone ring and blocking all the numbers. Delete my number and name. Trying to find a class action lawsuit against this company. I might just start one.
